I posted last week asking for things to do and see during our trip to Baton Rouge this past weekend, and many of you asked me to let you know how it went.

Well, my wife and I had a great time. It was THE best time we have had at an away college football game. We arrived Thursday morning, and from that time on the people of Baton Rouge were awesome. From the airboat tour, to the hotel staff, fans from LSU, restaruants, etc... Couldnt have asked for a better time. The fans in and around the staudium on Saturday were unbelieveable! I loved everyone we met, and so nice offering food, and drinks. If any of you are reading, thank you very much! I just hope our fans are as half as nice when you guys visit next season. I cant say enough how much we enjoyed ourselves. The weekend went by too fast! Thanks again LSU! Hopefully next year we can turn that score around, and return the favor! By the way, I hope you enjoyed our band!
The wife and I will be there tomorrow morning... I finished work, left the lesson plans for the substitute, now I'm ready to experience everything LSU has to offer.
Let's Go Mountaineers!!!

Been driving my wife crazy about this trip the last few days. I can't wait!!

I know the Mountaineers will be coming in full force, it's going to be exciting and a great game!

For the guy who asked what part of West Virginia I'm from not from WV, just outside of Pittsburgh near Aliquippa (birthplace of Pete Maravich).
Anyway, my wife and I are looking forward to the trip. Thanks for all the suggestions, I'm ready to experience LSU, the food, and a great football game. Gotta love college football!

WVU fan needs a little help...

Ill be flying in early Thursday morning for the WVU game and Im looking for a few things that are a must see. Ive been to New Orleans, but want to experience LSU. Not only am I a West Virginia fan, but I am a college football fan. I want to see everything LSU has to offer. I know about a lot of the tradition, and Im excited to see and experience it. Ive heard so much about the gameday experience, its going to be great to see it first hand. Im so glad that the game is at night!

So where can I see some of the traditions, history, etc...? Is there a LSU hall of fame, or hall of traditions that may have things to see from the LSU athletics? Any specific restaurants that I need to check out? Anything you can help with I appreicate!

Looking forward to it, cant wait!!!!!

Go 'EERS!
