we should pound the rock early and often against them on Saturday.
Mountaineer fans everywhere hope your coach feels the same way.

Agreed.

We're Mountaineers. We carry guns. You're just big vermin.
If WVU wins it will be an upset. I'm not predicting a win, but WVU is much better than what most of the fans on here seem to think.

BTW, for those saying I'm a Bama fan, this will be the first time in my life to root for LSU's opponent. I was in section 600 for the NC over OU and would have been at the NC over OSU of not for the flu.

Someone needs to tell that to the callers-in to WWL.

well, the turnover margins typically are the undoing of many, but I honestly see LSU absolutely running you guys over. I am usually not this confident in LSU, but this game feels real statement oriented.
Maybe. I can tell you your fans are wrong about the 3-3-5.

I'll come back after the Arkansas game. Your posters will be saying the same things I said.

Who said anything about the Mountaineers playing the Saints? It looks like you have a reading comprehension issue. Tiger Stadium's atmosphere is simply overrated. It's no louder than Mass 90% of the time. Your fans only get into the game after a great play, and as soon as thing go a little bit against you everyone sits on the hands.

I live here. You and I both know that all the talk is about the downhill slid of the program. You're already behind Alabama. Look for Arkansas to overtake you this year. In a couple more years you'll be back to spending your holidays in Shreveport.

No Pat White and no Rich Rod.......this is NOT the same WVU teams that made them relevant. In that case, we were National Champs in 2007.........so, who give 2 shits about the OU game? I have watched them THIS YEAR. They are going to lose and it won't be close. That awesome passer you keep referring to will have someone breathing down and/or breaking his neck 80% of the time. Calm erodes under intense pressure and the LSU front seven are very special....on a national scale. The 3-3-5 defense can be blown to hell against a run-based offense. The saying is right: They are Marshall.......and no where close to LSU!
JJ is no Russell and Miles is no Saban. You'll be painfully reminded of that again this year. I'll been to several games at Tiger Stadium. Superdome is much louder for a regular season Saints Bucs game. 2010 Tigers = 1998 Tigers. Miles = Denardo.

I watched them against Marshall, and am about to watch the replay of their game with Maryland in a few minutes (ESPNU 1:00 a.m. CDT). From what I saw against Marshall, Devine is more bulked up than he used to be, but didn't seem nearly as fast. Their QB is adequate as a passer, but certainly nothing to be scared of. He's more of a runner, but he's no Pat White. I'd be surprised if they do much against our defense.
Not to be rude, but have you ever watched the game of American football before? Smith threw for 316 yards against Marshall. He ran for 13 yards. He threw for 268 yards and 4 TDs against UMD and had -6 yards rushing. He's thrown 1 ill-advised pass this season. That was the first game. He is an accurate passer, but more than anything he is as poised as I've ever seen.

Easy money. Take WVU to cover.
