Tenn vs LSU

How soon do they lock in game times? I see the website has 7:30 but I hear it will more than likely be at 2:30.

What are my chances of buying a ticket at the stadium? Things are really expensive online right now...I am making my 1st trip to see an LSU game on Oct 2nd.
lsusports.net says tenn is a 7pm game....do they change game times often?
That sounds like a plan...I was hoping to see a night game...but day or night...it will be better than my options in NC.
How far of a drive is it from new orleans to lsu campus? We are staying in new orleans friday night and heading to lsu on Sat. morning..

Coming to my first LSU Football game, suggestions?

My buddies and I are making a trip from NC to check out big time football against Tenn. We are going to the Saints/Panthers game on Sunday. Any suggestions on where we should go for pregame? We will have a rental car so I doubt we will be able to tailgate...we will probably look for a bar to hang out in before the game. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
