RNG do not sound like Pelican colors, I would have to agree. It won't be Bucs due to the marketing disaster that would create with the Milwaukee Bucks, but I could definitely see that Bucs font being used.
I'm stunned she announced that on a pregame show. Then again, how many people really watch the pregame show? Most people just turn the tv on at 7:10. She said the new name can't be revealed now, but she had to have been authorised to release the colors now. No way that was an accident. Jen Hale prompted her about the team name though, so I'm sure it was cool.

We need one of these. PHI will become NBA team #12 to buy outright or enter an exclusive control agreement. We are the second youngest team in the league, and the new NBA collective bargaining agreement calls for NBA veterans to also do rehab assignments at the D-League level like Major League Baseball players do.

Someone at ESPN has to be fired for putting our game on over BKN/MIA.

I don't think I have ever seen an NBA game where a team has no FT attempts at halftime before tonight. Amazingly, that team is not New Orleans! :dude:
I know he obviously needs to produce on the basketball court (I think he will) but it really does make me feel good to hear a player "dying to get drafted by New Orleans" and say "I love love love this city."
Harvey Hornet (now Coullion63 on nolasportskrewe's website) is STILL not back on the Hornets wagon even after the draft, new ownership, new practice facility coming on board, etc.

The reason? He absolutely refuses to support the team while teal (creole blue) is still in the team's colors and the name is still "Hornets". How douchy/immature is that? He's got some issues with North Carolina. Odd indeed....

In theory I wouldn't be opposed to the London Monarchs as long as the feasibility issues are worked out to an extent that I have not given it much thought on how to do it. If it can be done, great.

He does make a good point in the massive revenue with that huge tv market (and I'm sure a lot of other Europeans might follow the team) that would be created. If anything it expands the NFL's brand making the Saints and New Orleans as a constituent unit of this global market that much more prominent.

London is a terrible move. The London team has to come here 4 times a year making 6-12 hours flights twice in 3 days 4 times? The Saints travel on Fridays for California games as it is.

And a London team isn't going to come here for 2 or 3 weeks. Staying in a hotel for 2 weeks? How much use would they really get of their practice facility? All London games would have to be 7pm Greenwich time (1pm Eastern).
I'm about to throw my iPod against a brick wall. Does anyone know of a free third party download to transfer ALL my files? Some of these free ones I've seen limit you on the number of transfers they allow.

"LePissier" is French for "the bathroom".

That's where Americans got the word piss from. LePissier is its ancestral root.

I didn't make it. I just thought the gif was funny. Nuttin serious.. Hey does my avatar make up for it?
When will the Hornets sign a deal?? I would hope in the next 12 months they either buy an expansion team outright or sign an exclusivity deal like some other teams are choosing. The Hornets are rebuilding. This is the time we need one the most.

Boston becomes the 11th NBA team to either purchase or sign a hybrid deal.

I like the Gerry V Show from 4-7 on 106.1. He talks about everything, not just football.

Anyone know what's the deal with that alleged tv studio hanging off of Benson Tower? I think it would be awesome if Fox 8 moved there and had CS as their news background. Doubt that will happen, but what exactly will that be for?

I am patient with the mall. I just used the same post I guess to talk about what I am not patient with (the continuous player stats).

I also believe an absolute homerun would be a CS entrance from the Hyatt similar to the old N.O. Centre connection. The Hyatt has a lot to offer on Saints gamedays with their restaurant and sleek bars. As it stands now, you need to walk out of the Hyatt then walk all the way to Girod or Poydras then get back in heavy pedestrian traffic on former LaSalle St. to get to CS.... at least 15 minutes (about 3/4 mile walk) whereas a CS-Hyatt connection would eliminate the walk entirely.
