Was John Heisman an epic D-bag?

Coached at Tech, Auburn, and Clemson.

I'd have to say yes.

Jayden Daniels has to be the dumbest guy to ever win a Heisman.

And that's saying something considering the competition.

Olson and Riley

Don't lump together Olson with Riley.

Olson has carried this team offensively. Riley is obviously a mental case with the bat this year.

This.

Do these players count towards the 105?

Yes. And based on what I've read, GA is full.

I'm not sure he can at the moment.

I agree with your premise, but he is too early in a high dollar contract that demands that he plays.

I'm wondering if the injury from last year is somehow lingering. Possibly affecting his swing speed.

I'm eyeballing the hitting coach. He hasn't impressed since his arrival last year.

So in a perfect world we'd play 16 games this season and only have to leave the state of Georgia 5 times. That would be spectacular.

Yea, I would imagine this is WG Dawg's dream schedule. No big time OOC games other than the obligatory GT game, and mostly in the state of GA.

Hopefully, this will work in their favor.

It was Hines Ward and it isn't close.

??

As a WR, I'm sure Hines Ward enjoyed blocking downfield.

But I don't ever recall him getting any personal foul penalties called against him in the SEC.

Pat Dye: .717
Doug Barfield: .537
Shug Jordan: .680

The respect Shug got was deserved. But I have to go with Pat.

The average Auburn fan was neutered during the Barfield days. Dye came in and gave them hope. He transcended being just a football coach.

Getting Bama to come to Jordan-Hare was immense. That changed attitudes which permeated throughout the entire athletic department.

I have many friends that are Auburn fans and alums and they can't overstate what that meant.

What do you think about Andrew McCutchen? Surely, he can produce somewhere.

I'm sure he could fill in here or there and possibly give them a little bump in production. But after that, there is a reason all he could get was a minor league contract.

Just going by history, I don't see AA going big on any trades.

Starting the season, I feel like they were waiting on Smith-Shawver, Schwellenbach, and Waldrep to boost the pitching staff at mid-season. But they were also counting on Strider, too.

Reilly, Kim, and Acuna(health) have been major disappointments. But I don't see any trades to replace any of them.

The Braves have the 5th(?) highest pay roll, but it feels like they spend like paupers.

Based on what I’ve heard, I’m pretty sure Pat Dye was the choice had Dooley left.

Did Indiana outspend Georgia on its payroll last year?

I have no idea, which is a bad assumption on my part.

I just assumed they did with all the hoopla surrounding Cuban. I would be surprised if they didn't atleast for the transfer portal.

This is an interesting pivot point in Kirby's tenure at Georgia for sure.

Agreed.

Until the rules of NIL change or we get our own version of Mark Cuban, I feel this year is Kirby's last chance at a natty for a while.

He's still the best recruiter in football, but this feels like things are trending to a rebuilding type program vs. a reloading program.

But you keep on overreacting to life if it makes you feel better.

Wow.

For me, he died on the hill of fixing the USPS.

It still takes 10 days to mail an invitation to my next door neighbor.

Most of the UGA baseball info I get is from you.
