re: Snap count from first bama game

I'm not so much concerned about Bama as I am being without our starting center.

Also, I hope Tech didn't expose Stockton's weaknesses for all to see.

As far as a new head coach, I'd be up for Kalen DeBoer.

I think he's a really good coach and seems to have the temperament for the pros. (ulterior motives notwithstanding)

Me, too. Get as much draft capital that you can and start over. Should be plenty of cap space after getting rid of Penix, Pitts, and Cousins.

Good riddance.

Trading a guy who's on a HoF trajectory is a stupid idea and doesn't require any more discussion .

You probably thought the Luka trade was a good idea.

Not sure what Luka has to do with this discussion.

HoF!! Dude doesn't even have enough fan or peer support to make the all-star game.

If I'm building a "team" to win an NBA championship, Trae is nowhere near that roster.

Is that all you got?

Obviously, you don't agree with the OP or my response.

Could you elaborate?

Even before this last IR stint, the Hawks played better without Trae. He does score, makes the typical lob at the rim type assists. But he's a massive defensive liability and is very slight in stature (hence the frequent stretches of being injured).

He is certainly not worth the 50-60+ million for max compensation he'll command.

News flash!

This has been true for quite some time.

Hawks are just too scared to pull the trigger.

Maybe the new GM sees it correctly now.

Pretty much says it all.
It won't matter.

I'm sure GA will eventually not be credited with the Auburn win.

Now that the NCAA is looking into officiating calls, they'll create the mindset that GA should have lost, so in the committee's eyes they'll now have 2 losses. Another loss will put them out of the playoff discussion.

It will be similar to 12-0 FSU not getting into the playoffs because their QB got hurt.

I gotta admit. The way you wrote that, I thought you were joking as well.

Me, too, However, they better run the out of conference schedule like they did last year because it seems pretty weak.

Tech is the only decent OOC game at Stegman. Until conference games start, there's really not much to be excited about. Optimistic, but not excited.

Least shocking news ever.

Knew this would happen.

We’re screwed.

If the third option came down to Carolina, Kentucky or Vandy, I’m glad it was USC. We’ve got a ton of history with them going back to their days in the ACC. Georgia-South Carolina used to be an early season SEC staple in the 1990’s and 2000’s.

True, but they have more history with Vandy and Kentucky.

I don't have a problem with SC, it's understandable. However, I would much rather had Kentucky just for the trip to Lexington.

Rat poison.

Regarding UGA, the conference will recognize UF and Auburn as rivals, but all bets are off after that. UGA has much longer conference histories with other schools than USC.

My guess is UK.
Kentucky will be our third rival.

Best guess.
