9 conf games & 3 out of conference games vs 8 conf games & 4 out of conference games will please people until that 9th conf game and subsequent loss(which wouldn`t have happened with a lesser opponent) starts costing the conference BC$ appearances. With scholarship limitations etc. every schools winning %...OVER THE LONG HAUL...will suffer if a ninth conference game is added to their schedule.
Me whinning about a 9th conference game is really kind of a chicken shite attitude but I just know the deck would be stacked against us more than it already is in football. That being said I don`t see why any of the SEC`s real powers would want to play an additional conference game and up their chance of a loss that may cost them a BCS bowl in any given year.
I`m a State fan and I would guess our folks are about 80-20 in favor of expansion. I am personally for it IF we don`t have to play 9 conference games per year.
I`m a State fan and for us and about 3 or 4 others it would really make it tough but it would also make it tougher to get to the BCSCG for all SEC schools. Just curious how the "big boys" feel about the prospect of 9 conference games every year.
Thanks for your answers. You`ve confirmed what I already knew. From the upper deck you can watch the game....from the lower endzone you can be a part of the game. That`s what my buddies like about it. Thanks again.
I just used the word damn to emphasize their love for their seats. You guys have something unique in all of sports and I definitely respect that.
I`m a Mississippi State fan with a hypothetical question. Would any of you swap one of your endzone seats for four upper deck seats? I`ve been to many non MSU games at your place with some wealthy LSU friends/fans that sit about 15 rows up in the north endzone and I don`t believe they would swap places with anyone else in the damn stadium. We`re about to bowl-in our north endzone and some of folks think endzone seats suck. What say you ?
"Have you ever considered that after evaluating Jones they decided that he would only weaken Alabama? If Phelon is buried on our depth chart, he won't do Bama much good either, and that takes up a scholarship that would otherwise be going to a new recruit. Seems like a good plan to me."

What if a kid is really better than he wants the staff to know but is laying down just because he`s not happy and he knows he`s got Miles by the short hairs because Miles has set a precendent that he(Miles) now has to live with.

He released him to State but no other SEC school.
Through some combination of lack of talent, lack of communications ,lack of what the hell ever Garrett couldn`t cut it at LSU. Miles released him to what was during recruiting his second choice MSU. I realize we have sucked for a long time so you don`t have to tell me that believe me we know.

Here`s my question. Why would Miles let Garrett go to his second choice and possibly set a precedent that will come back and bite his arse? At an elete football school there are always going to be 3 star highschool studs that are in for a rude awakening and want a do over and go back to their second choice. What does Miles tell the next disgruntled kid in a similar position to Garrett except his second choice was Alabama ? If Miles says no what`s his position if the kid lawyers up and demands a "Garrett deal"?
