If Mo had a pick for each game he has left, does he even pop into the top 3?
Maybe I'm late on this but I noticed Mo Claiborne is #8 on the current Heisman vote. Where did that come from?? Meanwhile, Mathieu is
still #3 on the fan vote at 12% of the nation but not on the Experts Poll at all.

Deserve ain't got nothing to do with it. They get an AQ because they have enough juice to get one. Even though it's slipping.

I agree. They have the juice to get it every year and just because they have a bad year doesnt mean they dont deserve it. My friend keeps talking about ending bcs standing but and dont get me wrong the big east sucked, but if they were average like the past few years with 2 or 3 teams in the top 25 by the end, we wouldnt be talking about it. But one year will do it? Thats not fair, they deserve it some years, not all. And when that happens, you have to give it to em
But what im saying is do we base on if a conference is good enough by one year or even the past few years? Or what we predict will happen? I think they are qualified for an AQ spot. Suddenly they will deserve it once they get TCU? im a huge tcu fan and i think theyre really good no doubt but is that really the team that will boost them to that height? This is also not biased towards lsu either, the question is just does having a bad year as a conference make them not good enough to have an aq spot? Theyve had teams like Louisville, Pitt, USF Rutgers and Cincy successful in past years. And teams like UCONN and West Va doing great this year. Saying theyre not good enough for an aq spot is like saying they belong in a conference like the WAC or MWC or worse. Wouldnt that just be great if instead of hearing all of this stuff about Boise and TCU, we hear it about Boise, TCU, Pitt, Louisville, Cincy, UCONN, USF and WEST VIRGINIA?! Cmon guys, be realistic here. What yall are saying is we should just take Ole Miss, Tennessee, UCLA, Cal, Michigan, Penn St, and Texas out and put em in one sucky conference because they had a bad year. The Big East CAN be dominant. So lets just take away their aq spot not becuas ethey werent this year? Thats rediculous
txtyger is the guy btw. hes the guy that made this whole argument happen in the first place
Okay, so me and my friend were talking about TCU and how they are going to the Big East which came to how strong the Big East is. He seems to think that without TCU,the Big East doesnt deserve a AQ spot in the BCS picture. My argument is that just because they have had an off year and average past couple of years, doesnt mean they shouldnt be considered for an AQ spot. But over the past like 7 years, there have been some dominant Big East schools and just because theres no ranked teams in the top 25 by them, doesnt mean they arent a big conference that deserves a bid. We know technically they cant lose their AQ spot but his argument is if they deserve it. Think about this...If it was the end of the '07 season, would you be thinking of dropping their bid? Do off years really result in not deserving that bid? You tell me.

So my question to everyone- Does the Big East deserve a bid even without TCU?

...Id also like to note that this is the same guy im arguing with about this...

He also feels that if you have a small lead in the 4th quarter of a college football game, you should kick the onside kick anyways because "you have a chance to get the ball back" hahahhahaha. Just another note to think about.
Okay so we have a group watching the Georgia at South Carolina game and my friend thinks it would be smart for this situation to happen:

4th and goal at the 1 yard line, up by 8 points. Do you go for it or kick the field goal and make it a two possession game? I would love to hear everyones opinion on what the smarter choice would be. So what do you think? Go for it on 4th and one with risk of a tie with the possibility to be up 15, orrrrr kick the field goal and get a for sure 3 points to make it a 11 point lead?
just found out that we have the most active players with 59.
im actually totally against a name, but that mr. lsu guy pushed it, and now its happening, so i dont wanna get stuck with a gay name like skip screwballs

although i do get that it will be adding stuff like free shirts and organized bus trips to away games, i just dont want something stupid to stick.
