Opportunity to move into position with salary increase but less networking
Posted by ForeverLSU09 on 8/11/14 at 12:50 pm
I'm currently in an associate-level role with a strong salary and opportunity to connect/interact with our clients and senior management. It's a good gig with a flexible schedule but I know I can't move up here.
Another company in a different industry who I've been connected with in my current role contacted me last week about a manager position that would result in an increase in pay (15-20% I'm assuming right now) but would have me working on a singular project with a specific team and minimal client interaction.
Any thoughts from people here who have done similar? Essentially, I'm trying to determine if the networking value of my current position makes up for the salary increase at the other.

Went to Atlanta this weekend... Stumbled upon a tailgate in the gravel parking lot that was a shite show. Anyone else there??
