I think that Early Doucet has had the coaches in Arizona excited for sometime now. They wanted to bring him along slowly as they had 3 WR's in front of him who were capable. But now that Boldin is gone its possible that Doucet could challenge for the #2 spot since Breaston thrives in the slot/ #3 role

Texas doesn't recruit.......they select. They thrive on painting a picture for recruits. That picture says "All the top players in the state play at UT."

Kids get blinded by the hype. And unfortunately Texas A&M sucks and allows Texas to monopolize the majority of the states top recruits.

And yes, their class is pretty sick right now. But there are a lot of players in Texas and some don't even hit the radar until their senior year. And Texas will miss out on those. How do you think TCU has done so well?

I believe the listed offers come directly from the players mouth. I know that a few times a player will say he's got an offer from a college, but he really doesn't. The Rivals writer for that team can then go into the account and take the check mark off the page. And vice versa....

Do you miss him?

Exactly, I stand by my statements.

Buckner didn't do jack on the field though.

MSG, if you want to see the whole picture of the girl in my sig...right click and press "view image". It should enlarge (probably in more ways than one) I love those TCU girls.

We've got him slated to be a slot WR for us. He'll take over for Jeremy Kerley after this year. Big shoes to fill. I hope he can add some size because he looks pretty small. Seems to be a confident kid and I hope that he excels at WR seeing that is probably his natural position. Not QB which he played most of last year. Good things are happening down in FW.

Curtis Carter, North Desoto WR

Hey guys, just wanted to see if any of you had any insight on Curtis Carter out of North Desoto, Stonewall LA. I've seen his video and heard a few things, but I'd like to hear from someone who has seen him play in person.

What kind of player can I expect him to be? Thanks.

29 signings can also mean that many of those players are grade risks. I know that doesn't transfer over to the playing field, but I've seen players drop in ranking due to grade issues.

Buckner was a diva. He didn't ever gel with the rest of the team. Not to mention he underachieved on the field. The split was necessary and good for both sides.

Stud WR. Has great size. UT fans think he is a lock, but they took 5 WR's in the last class and just got 2 verbals for the 2011 class. So, I'm not sure there is room for him. We'll know more after UT's second junior day. Still very early.
