Val's is not opened back up yet from Issac. :wah:
The projected date was February 1st but they have water again in the restaurant so not sure when they will open up now. As of this morning they have like 7 inches in the restaurant. They have a Facebook page that is keeping everyone updated and they have an email list you can get on. marina@eatel.net.

not an owner but know the owners and the people that work there. I can just tell that it's been a long while since some have been there because of some of the post. Just making all aware of some of the misconceptions being said.
LOTS of good restaurants in the Head of Island, Maurepas area is my opinion.

they have a bar but there aren't any BAR fights there. It's just a local bar with a few stools. they are a restaurant not a bar.

Just a little FYI everything with the exception of possibly 4 items are made in house and not frozen. Nothing has changed from back in the day except the looks of it.
p.s. I know for a fact that Val's doesn't even use Sysco for anything not one of their vendors. Also check out the outdoorkitchenshow.com and see the items they make in house you will be surprised.
