I think Kiffin did the right thing, he was suspended "indefinately" (3 games ultimately) while all the CORRECT information was gathered. JJ has an NFL future in front of him as long as he keeps his head on straight. And thank you for being one of the few that actually realizes only time will tell. I think as time goes on and UT improves Kiffin will say much less, but he is never the coach that will remain completely silent. I just can't wait to see what the product looks like when we have solid talent across the board.

Yes I agree that he did something to get suspended for the Memphis game, I think that it was more than likely an incident on the strip. I'm not sure that UT players have an official curfew during the week, but they do weightlifting at 6 AM so its somewhat implied. And yes he was in the car with a chick that had dope after an armed robbery was committed. I am in the camp that if he missteps again he should be removed from the program.

I saw one media person say that he was suspended for the Memphis game for failing a drug test. Surely it would have been leaked through more sources if that was the case. And he was not driving the Prius, the girl was and she was carrying the dope at the time they were pulled over near Gibbs Hall. And I too hope that McCarthy didn't pay anyone, that is downright Bamaesque and a terrible reflection on our conference.

You have to be blind to be a Tennessee fan and NOT appreciate what Kiffin has done. I mean I'll admit I don't like the fact that USC "allegedly" paid Bush in Kiffin's time there. You do realize that you are basing your argument on Al Davis right? How is Cable working out in Oakland relative to Kiffin? More importantly how is Russell doing out there? You know that QB that Al Davis drafted despite protests from Kiffin.

How exactly is it a cover up? Surveillance cameras backed up his story. BTW if you have ever been to Knoxville you would know that Pilot is the busiest gas station on the strip. Cameras are everywhere, and from the time that car pulled into the parking lot they were on surveillance.
