March 25, 1699 - Pierre Le Moyne d'Iberville
I ran mostly east, like yesterday afternoon: I must have made today 7 leagues and 50 portages over trees and log rafts; and we came on and spent the night at a landing where we found 6 pirogues. Here two small streams unite with this one, one from the north-northwest and the other from the southeast, making it half again bigger and twice as wide.
... The place where I am is one of the prettiest spots I have seen, fine level ground, beautiful woods, clear and bare of canes; but the whole country becomes inundated to a depth of 5 to 6 feet during high water...

We’re still working on it guys taking longer than expected ??
Cabins will be updated pics on website no are from the last time it was open 20 years ago. Canoe and kayak rentals coming in the next few months.
Will have primitive camping, RV sites, cabin rentals, new bath house with laundry facilities.
We have our first cabin done and ready to rent on Air bnb

We're not pissing off everyone were in the parking lot at Walmart putting more gas in the generator for the PA to make another pass around campus. We got all the usual f-you's and corn dogs! But some other nice Georgia students have already welcomed us and invited us to tailgate with them.

Wow we're those guys that's awesome we've already made so many friends. Anyone know where we can set up and tailgate and make more friends. Are there any lots with some LSU fans out here? :cheers:

Group of 10 guys going to make a road trip to Ole Miss. We plan on driving up Friday and sleeping in tents. Were looking for suggestions on where to try to pitch tents at and tailgate on campus. Does any one have any suggestions where there will be other LSU fans tailgating.
