This is part of the lower Amite river. Usually theres not as much boat traffic.

There is a bait shop in Walker that sells them. The name of the place is P'maws bait shack. They have a website if you want to check them out.

I've seen the seen the signs along the I-10 around Gonzales. Wondering if anyone has any info on this place.

You should check out Pearl River WMA. Place is thick, but loaded with hogs. It helps hunting here if you have a boat.
