Under "attention to detail" you can add a lack of wide receivers being able to hold their blocks downfield.
Great Point!!!

it's been here IMO. it's why the 06 team didn't win it all, and why 07 damn near didn't.
It's always been there.

Now, this offense appears to be taking Twitter requests from fans on which play to run next (this is when they can actually get a play off)!
funny and true.

Where are the quick-slants, the post routes, the 5-yard curl routes to Dixon, the crossing patterns, the DIVE? On 3rd and 1 yard to goal, why is Jefferson handing the ball to Scott on the 5 YARD LINE?
I would also add bubble screens.
A couple people have mentioned the Saban adage and I think they are right on the money "attention to detail" plus a lack of discipline. The guys are not ready mentally nor are they conditioned for the game. Almost every game except for last night 5 or 6 guys are going down with cramps or something. I'm an amateur I know, but there are basic things that seem to be lacking with these players, especially on the offensive side of the ball. I'm not calling for anybody's job, but I would like to see this team play to it's potential.
