River City Extension-Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Your Anger
quote:

Hazelnut Can the hornets now go after howard? Yea. As much as I hate to make the comparison (b/c it's 2 different sports) but you look at how the Saints used to have trouble bringing in Free agents in the past but nowadays they have no problem doing it because guys want to come here.

The Saints practice facility for thirty years was several mobile homes by a park. Behind some mechanic shops. It's looked more ridiculous than it sounds. They even worked out in trailers. All of Mora's teams operated out of that crap. New digs in 96 new players started coming. Chris Paul had to I to go to work at the Alario center everyday. Wouldn't you get depressed if you had to go to Westwego everyday for work? Time to build a new facility for the team. It would be more attractive for free agents to consider.
Thanks fo finally feelin me.
Or someone that loves living on the Internet...playing Dungeons and Dragons.
If being the slow kid in class is wrong....than I don't want to be right! And who uses minion? You're playing too much Dungeons and Dragons.
quote:

Ah yes, we all coould live the life of a unionized hotel maid or the like.

So many places to go with this. You do know that you need that hotel maid, ditch digger and garbage man. Why is their life an insult to Union wages.

Those operators that keep the chemical plants running aren't earning less than you.

Mediocrity has its privileges, I see

Well, you should know.
It all depends on where you've set your bar and your perception of mediocrity.

By my count, you have used 25 exclamation points in your 12 posts within this thread so far. That's impressive!

So......all that time on your hands you must be Union too! Welcome aboard!!!!!!!!!!!
quote:

If you need a union to get you a higher wage, you are overpaid..

NO SUCH THING! You mad!
quote:

I've yet to meet a union worker that doesn't milk the system. My best friend is I'n q union and sends me picture messages all the damn time of them sleeping on the job. Shameful.

Great generalization! :spank:
quote:

No there isn't. How many entry-level accountants, engineers, healthcare professionals, IT analysts, salesmen, pharmacists, and small business owners need unions?

The reason [that unions reduce income inequality] isn't just that unions defend their members. They also create changes in social norms, such as pressures for nonunion employers to match union gains.

I can't believe all this jealousy towards he union...don't knock it I'll ya tried it! Maybe , if y'all got in a union, you could make some mony an actually have a nice life worth living. But no y'all play on a message board all day. I've met my yearly limit for post here! Rain stopped I have to get back on the course....I might break par today!
Sorry, I was enjoying the fruits of my Union labor. you don't have to be stuck making "union wages" you can o right ahead and enjoy being poor! By joining the union I'm getting my 6 figure salary every year. I don't have any problems with that!
Unlike the UAW ...my company won't need bail out. It's been here long before you and will be here long after you. Most Unions have very good contracts for both the company and worker. To ensure success for everyone. out of all the Unions one has a problem so all get lumped into that category? I'm sure if you were making union wages and benefits you wouldn't be against the union!

Well in that case let me sit back and enjoy my triple time for a 7th report today! I'm enjoying my union benefits....try some you might like it!
What happened to the middle class? Maybe, there is a direct correlation between the decline of unions over the past 35 years and the decline of the middle class’s share of national income. When most Americans belonged to a union, 1940's and 1950's, income inequality in the U.S. was at its lowest point in the history of the country. The collapse of the middle class is the number one economic problem of our (America, since you are so worried about Asia) country!

With that being said are there downsides and negatives to Unions? ABSOLUTELY! Isn't there two sides to everything.

What bothers me most is when it's politicized. Republicans blaming Unions is the same as black people blaming Republicans! I'm conservative and a Union employee. Do I agree with everything that the Republican party represents? NO! They are just as much of the problem as a Democrat.

Well....you can't fix stupid!

Lazy? Shows how dumb you are! You think the guys that build your skyscrapers are lazy? Your plumbers, welders, operators and most every other job that takes sweat, skill and hard labor take exception to "lazy"! Don't politicize everything! That's the problem with your republicans and democrats!

You can be conservative and pro union! Are you can be ignorant of the facts and ignore all the benefits that unions have fought and recieved won for you!
Unions suck? Enjoying this wekend? Thank the unions for your weekend! THank the unions for your health care! Not being able to work as a child....thank the union for that! You got to play little league instead of work! Family medicall leave when something happens...yup the unionheloc you that. So, you get to keep your non union job while taking care of your family. 40 hour weeks and overtime...unions did that for you. Just because you're not in one doesn't mean you haven't reaped the benefits of unions throughout history.
Screw the B4 and get a job at Shell or BASF. Good pay, no stress and great hours! Play golf every Friday.
