This may actually not be true. If for some reason the LHSAA starts looking at Curtis closely they may be able to figure out that Curtis holds kids back for non-academic football reasons and find out that there are 20 year olds on that team. I've even heard rumors of steriod use; but im not sure if those are true. Besides Newman is starting to become a school full of athletes and many track stars on the westbank are looking at Newman and some already go there. There is a chance that a rich high academic reputation school can defeat The University of Football once again.

there are two other players to watch for newman. sophmore defensive tackle alex paul hes 6'6 280 if he gets mean he might be able to cause some trouble in the backfield for curtis but the score is still gonna be 40-0 and junior defensive tackle xavier henry. he is also huge at 6'4 325, probably not as good as paul but is still a beast in the middle. i dont think newman has ever had this kind of size before

beckham int

hes a junior at newman in new orleans and a very close teammate to ronnie vinson. very fast i think around a 4.5, ive never seen him lose a jumb ball and very nice hands. he is undersized around 5'10 165-170 but has the athletic ability to compete with anyone
