Just wondering where we stand with them after this weekend?

Thanks

Pertaining to Winston we need to see where he goes in the draft before making predictions. He's basically naming his price with the potential leverage of playing both baseball/football at FSU for 3 years.

Thanks for the info
I forgot about Winston....will he make it to FSU?
I guess he found a better patch of herb to smoke elsewhere

LOL.....one of their best players on an already depleted and pathetic SEC team

JT Dickson update

Team won again last night. Week before he had 2 fumble recoveries and carried the ball a few times. Game was played in a downpour so Ocean Springs didn't have much of a passing attack.

Last night much of the same. Looked good on defense, in on numerous tackles, carried the ball and caught a TD pass. Kid is tough.

Ocean Springs won both games and is 4-1.

looking forward to seeing him on the field for us next year.
Dickson had left ankle heavily taped again. Played a great ball game. In on numerous tackles, played entire game.

OS had a tailback go down and they went from a wishbone (veer) type 3 RB set to a single back formation with Dickson alone in the backfield. Everyone knew he was getting the ball when they went this formation. Moss Point couldn't get him down as he made several crucial runs on 3rd and 4th down carries for first downs. He literally carried a couple defenders after initially hit at the line for a 8 yd gain on a 4th down late in first half. Tough running.

In 3rd Q he made a huge stop on an end around for 14 yard loss. Had great backside pursuit all night and with a scrambling Moss Point QB, was able to get in on several tackles/assists.

OS won late 21-14. Moss Point is not the team once feared from days gone by. They had a few good skilled players and played tough in the middle on defense and offense.

OS has an off week next Friday so hopefully Dickson's high ankle sprain can get some rest. Regardless, kid played hard all night and was quite the bull carrying the ball.

LOL. I understand and try to filter them out as well.

Just want to share and discuss anything I can regarding kids recruited by the Tigers this way.

New to the site. I follow the tigers on another pay site but always looking to follow the Tigers wherever I can.

Live on the MS coast and go to some of the HS games here. Went to last weeks OS-Tylertown game to see the Dickson kid.

By chance I sat next to a lady who was an English teacher at his school.

Overheard her talking before the game ref Dickson having a high ankle sprain and limping around at school.

He played the entire game (surprised he did) but had his left ankle taped heavily by end of game.

Was impressed with his toughness.

I know some have wondered if he's a FB or TE recruit for us given our current players at DE.

This kid played FB, TE (with nice reception), DE, and also deep snapper for punts. The deep snapper really surprised me and he may be more of a versatile player than I originally thought. All this while hobbling around on one leg. Kid is tough.

Going to see Wes Rea soon. I know he's a MS State baseball recruit but word over here is that he's still open to playing football. he may be down on our OL recruit board but I'll check him out anyway.

BTW, Tylertown had some very fast underclassmen skill players. Be interesting to see how they project next year in MS.

Going to see OS play Moss Point tonight. Will report back what I see from Dickson and what Moss Point may have.

Look forward to getting some good info here. Geaux Tigers!
