“I thought we came in with a good game plan but our guys just didn’t execute. I thought we looked sluggish, we’ll address that in practice. The guys just didn’t compete like we prepared them to, I was disappointed in their effort.”
His upcoming game vs. FSU

(it's all a matter of perspective)
I don't think we'll be in the CFP. We're looking for 8-4, 9 would be excellent. Honestly, we want anything better than last year.

FSU is getting better. If we maintain, we'll be back in the CFP in no time, especially when it's 12 teams!

I think our act is getting together. It's been a rocky road to rebuilding the team, but I'm confident it's headed in the right direction.

Bobby Bowden said, "When rebuilding a team, you lose by a lot the first year, a little by the second year, win by a little the third year, win by a lot the fourth year." This is Norvell's 3rd year.
Maybe Arkansas can be a W? That Florida QB tho...

Brilliant. It is antiquity, ancient roots and the old order with its unanalyzable qualities, its profound but inexpressible loyalties, the impalpable, the imponderable.
To have a board go on for 20 years successfully is insane. In 2002, it took an average of 12.5 minutes to download a song on a 56k modem, and it took 16 seconds for a web page to load. Congrats!

Well it is the Southern Decadence festival, so I assume manners will be followed! :moon:

Only through a tall glass of bourbon
FSU has a warm-up game which will be significant since they usually start with a huge game instead. I expect good things from FSU but it's always a roll of the dice.
quote:

Never mind that Fisher’s middling offense this season is every bit as dependent on running back Dalvin Cook -- against ACC defenses, mind you -- as LSU's offense is dependent on Fournette. Cook is responsible for 39.9 percent of FSU’s yardage in the 10 games in which he has played. Fournette’s is 40.8 at LSU.

from ESPN article
Jimbo isn't the greatest offensive coach. He gets real conservative real fast with a 10-point lead which usually leads to a nail-biter at the end of the game (which is every game for FSU).
