re: All Central Football Fans

I will give it to Catholic because they have played better than Central played in the playoffs but no one will remember Catholic made it to the semi-finals and lost to West Monroe but people will remember the time that Catholic lost by 39 to Central.

And by the way there is no way that Warrick Dunn's mother (single mother), God rest her soul, is paying for her son to go to Catholic so if anyone says that Catholic never recruited they are crazy!!!

Jordan Jefferson????

Posted by butcherie23 on 11/20/09 at 4:09 pm
I thought I had heard Les Miles say that Jordan Jefferson was going to play Saturday but now on the radio I heard one caller say he is 50/50 by and another said he will not be playing. What is the deal??? Is Miles that far out of the loop or is he trying to play mind games???
Dang I must not be that hard to peg!! Yes to all
Last week we got there at 6:30 and the stadium was not full and did not get crowded until mid way through the first quarter. Tonight may be a different story because this game is being hyped a little more in the local paper. If you do go to the game my only advice is to not park behind the stadium - park either in the neighborhood across the street from the field or in parking lot at Pat's Hardware. They have students parking the cars in the stadium lot and if you get there early your car will be blocked in.
This is the address for the stadium:

11526 Sullivan Rd
Baton Rouge, LA 70818-3617
Yeah I am from Central and have seen them play alot this year but I am not going to let myself get cocky and think we will keep blowing everyone out. Some fans from Central have gotten really confident about this team but I just hope they play a good game and hopefully pull out a victory.
Does anyone need anything about Ouchita? I have heard it will be a good game. Thoughts??

WHAT BRACKET ARE YOU LOOKING AT? THEY WILL ONLY MEET IN THE FINALS AND HOLD YOU BREATH ON CATHOLIC MAKING IT THAT FAR. CENTRAL WILL ROLL ALL THE WAY TO DOME AND ONCE THEY HIT THAT FAST TRACK ITS ALL OVER.

Well the disappoint stems from one year being in the state quarterfinals and the next year being drummed by everyone in the state.

I cannot believe this post has been infected with this bashing and low ball shenanigans. RMC you are pulling random comments out of your arse because you know nothing about the people you talk about. It sounds like you are jealous of the people that have accomplished more than you so please keep your disappointments with the Broncos to yourself and take your whippin quietly.

I heard Sid wants to put 90 but that could be a joke. However just like the Catholic game, if he does get up he will pull his starters but if Zachary keeps playing their starters he will put his back in and keep beating the crap out of them.

CENTRAL VS ZACHARY

HOW BAD WILL THE SCORE BE IN THIS GAME? I SAY THEY WILL PUT UP 100.

Well its been told to me that Sid is not a real X's and O's coach but a great motivator and he gets really good coaches around him. I guess the AD might be a move up for him and he does not have to worry about the day to day practices of football. Plus he is a good basketball coach (i.e. he won a state championnship at Redemptorist) and he may want to have his hands in all the athletics so he can spread the love around.

He wants a bigger "title" like AD for Central and if they dont hire another basketball coach and give him what he wants..... he will bolt for Catholic IMO

Sid is already the interim AD for Central and next year he will be the AD and Coach Dodson will be the head football coach. Plus he already has alot of money being thrown at him. He was already at Catholic for and I hope that he does not want to go back because he has change everything in Central.
The St. Paul game was played very well on both sides and you had some Central fans saying there were some bad calls and one sided refs but you always have that when things don't go the way the fans want. I can only hope that Central continues to play well and that Sid stays around because to see the community come out and support the football team is amazing. I graduated from Central in 97 and we did not have nearlier the turn out of kids that wanted to play football. I think we had a lot of talented kids but the atmosphere was not the same so I can only hope that this keeps going because I love to support the wildcats!!
Yeah I hope Central lives up to the hype because a team that lives by the pass can really be hurt if they have trouble moving the ball (i.e. too many 3 & outs) and have a few turnovers. I am just glad that the district consists of Central, Walker, Live Oak, Denham Springs and Zachary because we are all so close and it makes it interesting every year.
