BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -
Baton Rouge police collected a DNA sample from LSU's Jordan Jefferson when they executed a search warrant at the quarterback's apartment late Wednesday afternoon.

Baton Rouge Police Sergeant Don Stone says investigators gathered enough probable cause to execute a search for certain items that will "help prove or disprove the allegations against him (Jefferson)."

Police left the apartment near LSU with several paper bags filled with items they seized from Jefferson's apartment. Police would not say what items were seized.

WAFB's Jim Shannon quotes a police source as saying one of the main items investigators were looking for was a pair of Jefferson's tennis shoes. Investigators want to see if the bottom of the shoes match an imprint on the shirt of one of the four people injured in the fight. The source did not say whether the shoes were located during the search.

Jefferson was at home at the time of the search.

The search warrant was signed by District Court Judge Chip Moore, WAFB's Jim Shannon reported.

Jefferson is one of four LSU football players police are investigating in connection with a fight at Shady's bar near the LSU campus last week. The fight sent four young men, who are not members of the team, to a hospital for treatment. Police say one of the victims has three fractured vertebrae.

The four implicated players were interviewed by police for several hours Tuesday.
Dear Lord, you cannot see ANYTHING!!! They are going to make a judgement on that???
Rickles,

You do not know FACT anymore than the rest of us do. We have no idea who was involved in fight and who was there and left. No one has proved who was involved yet. Wait for it to play out.
BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - It doesn't appear any charges are ready to be filed against the four LSU players implicated in a fight outside a bar early Friday morning.

1:04pm. That could change but that is the latest.
"BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Investigators met with four LSU football players recently implicated in a fight.

The Baton Rouge Police Department met with Jordan Jefferson, Jarvis Landry, Josh Johns, Chris Davenport and the attorney for the players Tuesday morning.

Attorney Nathan Fisher said no charges have been filed against any of the players at this point.

He added all four LSU players cried after realizing they are now in a different and unflattering spotlight.

Sgt. Don Stone with BRPD confirmed there is video of the fight, but it is limited.

He gave no further details.

The meeting took place at the Baton Rouge Police Department Violent Crimes Unit, which is located within the Louisiana State Police Headquarters.

The mother of Josh Johns was seen enter the building while the meeting was happening.

Police also said the four players have not been charged with any criminal offense.

The players are implicated as being involved in the incident outside Shady's, a bar near campus, early Friday morning. Four people were injured."

Fisher said also that he did not think there will be any.

Lets not panic in the short run. Miles will make changes. We have no experience at QB. My main concern is the lack of emotion and follow through on defense. Florida was 9-4 last year. We need one more year to get these young guys ready. :geauxtigers:
