re: Lee to transfer?

Exactly right. The game is a blur to him. And he will get better.
And think about how we got into this mess. Our coach said no to B$ from guys Perrilloux and sent him packing even though we had nobody ready to step in.
That has to count for something in that locker room. And it has to mean those players tell today's high school stars that this is a place where stars aren't coddled, where rules are rules and where everybody is treated the same. We have paid a heavy price this year -- Florida killed us, but we could've beaten Georgia and almost certainly would've beaten Alabama with a better quarterback.
But I think we will win many games down the line because of what Miles has done this year.
Andrew Carnegie once had to pay $10,000 because of a mistake made by one of his lawyers. Asked why he didn't fire the lawyer, he said, "Because I've just spent $10,000 on his education." We're spending a season on the education of Lee and the two DCs. And, on both fronts, there have been some ups and some downs. You have to hand it to them for the 4-DE alignment against South Carolina and for hanging on against Mississippi State, when they obviously had more gas in the tank at the end than we did.
Are they perfect? No. Was Pellini? No. Will they get better? We'll get a good indication against Alabama. If we've learned something, perhaps we'll see it then. The teams that are successful over the long haul don't fire guys every 10 minutes. Maybe they will have to fire people at some point. But I think it's too early to write these guys off.
I think Pellini got guys to play hard, but he was no schematic genius.

You're totally right. Every time we tried to do something about it on Saturday -- every blitz, stunt, etc., -- we got burned. A team that can run and pass is going to be tough for us.
I'd also do with our safeties what the Redskins do with Landry -- play one of them 30 yards off the ball. You give up some stuff underneath, but you don't keep giving up 60-yard plays like we did on Saturday and against Florida.

I was in the UGa section, too. Every one of them was extremely nice. Our tailgaters treated their fans to food, drink, etc. It's what SEC football is all about.

I read somewhere KW was in the doghouse for fumbling and perhaps some violations of team rules. He also may have been hurt. He sure looked like he was running stronger on Saturday than he has all year.
