Honestly, I'd have to say that #10 is probably the best way to go for a current painting.

Thanks Choupique19, I'm really leaning to #10. Everyone has a their favorite as I said earlier but heck, I can't paint em all. This one should appeal to the LSU baseball fan when it's finished. I just released a football player but that was easy, I put #18 on the jersey.

If you're looking for the one that would give you most return, you're looking at Wilson (popular in MLB) or Nola (Most recognizable currently).

ell_13,to be honest, I have been leaning towards Nola. I really thought about Big Ben and Wilson as well. I know no matter which one I do, It will not be some ones favorite but I hope the overall piece is meaningful to LSU baseball lovers. It will have ghosted in the back the New Box with the Old Box!! I Thank you.

Which one, he's won 3 of them (1 college, two MLB)?

MLB.. His first world series.

Cool and he's nice guy but, I've already did a painting for him!! A World Series one.

Louis Coleman, 29, is not a bad one either. He's the last pitcher to bring a title to LSU. He was clearly the heart of the pitching staff that season as well.

Coleman was one I was considering as well. He was the one to pitch the first game in the new Alex Box.
Shane Youman !!! Wow, YOU GOT IT!! Winner Winner .... LMAO.. NOT!!!

I knew this could get interesting. :rotflmao:
That's one I really thought about, Nola!!
I am at a point in a painting and have kind of run into a slight problem, sort of!! I am working on an LSU baseball piece and have the main subject as right hand pitcher. I can't change it now; however which right hander's number would be worthy or suitable to put on this gold jersey?? 1991 to present. Any suggestions or thoughts would be appreciated.

Thanks.
Thank you very much for your help Turkey Creek Tiger. I have to agree. You something, funny how things work, the picture you just sent me is one of my paintings I did a couple years ago. It's sold out now!!! LOL....
No problem. My only little glitch is this one point about the darn lighting on that side.
No I got it straight and you've helped me. The East side is what I am trying to be sure of. I am working on a painting which the view is if you were standing on the front steps of the Law Building. This view has the Memorial Tower and the Stadium. I am trying to be sure as I have found nothing to support that view has color.
Yes. Is it like that on the East side ?
Thank you, every little bit counts. The photo that I currently have was taken from the parade field and is has it with the white lighting in the concourse area. In reading, the only colored area i can be positive about is the North and West. I'm sure the South will have color.

Question; Tiger Stadium lighting ?

I am working on a project and need some help. I need to know if the outside exterior on the East side of Tiger Stadium has been renovated to have colored lighting as well ? All my present references show the lighting to be white. I have photo's of the North Side and the West Side, just not the East...

It's hard sometimes to be patient when you are getting into it. This was an idea that I had and I just had to show it off. Don't worry though, I'll post it again when it's finished.

I thought I'd share my new painting I'm working on. It's not finished yet but I should have it finished next week. I have to put the Super dome and the city skyine behind him. How's it look so far ?
