Video Editing Software

I have been admiring the work on the fark board for quite sometime. Keep up the awesome work. Trying to do some editing of a video myself (i.e add effects, music, basic "stuff"). Any suggestions on easiest software to use? Tried Wax and Zwei-Stein, but seemed pretty difficult. Thanks for the help and Geaux Tigers - Roll-the-Tide!
