I doubt that he was going to arrest you for conspiracy to drink under age. What he very well could have arrested you for is conspiracy to provide alcohol to a minor. In that you had purchased a large quantity of alcohol, you had actual knowledge that under age people would have access to said alcohol, you took no steps to ensure that under age people would not get the alcohol, and you purchased the kegs (act in furtherance) not only was the officer's threat justified, you probably would have been convicted.

Before you mouth off to a cop, be sure you are right. Providing alcohol to a minor is becoming a more and more significant offense in Louisiana. Particularly every time a minor gets in a car and kills themselves as happened in BR last week.

Minors drinking and drinking and driving is not a joke!
