re: Should Corso be fired?

"Nah, Corso is basically an idiot. He's a USC homer but he does represent a lot of west coast football fans and analysts who think that USC has more talent than most teams every year and have a good chance of blowing it against a lesser team every year."

Fixed that for you!

And you are a GA fan?

Let's not forget, Ole Miss vs Texas Tech in the bowl game. I think Ole Miss's win against Texas Tech proves their worth and gives more credibility to Fla loss than USC's loss to Oregon State!

Face it, USC playing in the SEC might go 8-4.
I thought I read were one of our co-dc's was headed there as the hc, which was part of the reason for the silence?
Glad this one is over, looking forward to next season!
Yes, the QB situation has been a problem but put that aside, it's time to focus on the D and how terrible they are. We could have survived if it were not for the D.
I normally would agree, but the 4th string QB isn't putting up a min of 38 points on our D which in my opinion has been the problem this season. I think we could have had a better season even with the QB situation if the D would have stepped up and at least pretended to cover.

Look, if Lee was actually showing some progress I think fans would be less apt to give him grief. He may have all the skills of being a great QB but he is not showing any progress and has not been learning from his mistakes. If he cannot learn from his mistakes his talent will never show through.
Kinda late, don't ya think!
Doesn't make me feel any better knowing that we could have won 2 out of the 3 if not for poor QB play! All you expect is someone to not lose the game for you!
I somewhat agree, but Lee isn't even getting them the ball in the best place to make the play. That first pass to Byrd was behind him. Give it out front he makes the play.

Suncoastiger is correct. Look, I was one of those defending Lee until Saturday. He is not getting any better! He still doesn't check down his receivers, has no vision of the field and cannot get out of trouble if his life depended on it.

How many plays does JJ really have to know against AL? Can you say option, option, option, perhaps 1 passing play thrown in the mix? I mean, what are they scared of, he will throw an interception?

Oh, to go with my previous reply I too blame the D. 38 points scored should be enough to win any game. How does a D allow 34 points? Between FLA and GA our D has been exposed!

Why not blame Crowton? Why would you pick the first play from scrimmage with 92 + thousand fans in LSU territory against a highly ranked team with a redshirt freshman and throw one of the hardest passes to complete in football?

Give the guy a chance to succeed, not fail, which in my opinion Crowton did a poor job at!

Test the run D first then build his confidence with short easy passes until he is ready.

Come on, this is stuff that even the most unknowledgeable football fan knows.
