According to yesterdays press release we signed 10 players total. Does anyone know if coach will add any one new before class starts? Hopefully an arm or two...
I'll believe it when I see it...
There’s no question there’s lack of institutional control and USC doesn’t appear to be cooperating. I’m just wondering if anyone’s seen any new articles on the NCAA investigation lately…
Jordan Jefferson will not play this year. I have never seen him play in person but have read and seen every video (that I know of) of his on the internet. He is a classic, raw athletic QB. Which leads to this question – odds are either Hatch-ling or J. Lee will establish themselves somewhat this year and with Russ coming on board next year – When does Jordan Jefferson get his chance?

As for geauxwarrior12’s post… Lester Ricard could’ve played at LSU if he wasn’t backing up Matt Mauck and J. Russell/Matt Flynn coming on board. The kid’s still bouncing around the NFL, which is way longer than Marcus Randall (with all his starts) did. 99% if High School passers can't read a defense on a college level. Being a polished high school passer doesn’t guarantee a lot, look at the Evangel boys and how well they did with all that hype…
Jordan Jefferson = Lester Ricard...

We'll all forget him when Russ Sheppard steps on campus. Tulane will need a QB for 2010.

If he's making his decision off depth charts, he's going to be a GD.

Southwood Golf Club in Tallahassee's pretty nice. It's a newer course in a part of town that resembles the Truman show... There aren't a lot of good course's in the traingle east of Destin/Panama City, west of Jacksonville, north of Gainesville.
Don't sell those teams short. We had talent but no depth. Sure they had a couple 3rd/4th stringers that could've started for us but we did have talent...

I played against it in High School, a school called Lake Howell in Orlando, Florida ran it. They had terrible athletes and couldn't run it smoothly at all. They didn't win a game all year.

I think it can work in small doses but with a Perriloux/Flynn type QB mix. I doubt it'll ever be mainstream but wouldn't be suprised to see an OC like coach Crowton try a couple plays sometime...
other than Matty our biggest loss was the two Florida Juco pitchers who signed...

Those kids would've been huge...

Those kids won't be lifting or eating well. The two years are devoted to the church and they can be placed in a third world country where there’re no weights or good food.

Not to mention, off the top of my head it seems like a lot of kids that go on missions don’t stay at the school they originally signed with or attended. (Ben Olsen, Hatch…)
