Hey Bill, I just tried calling your 326 prefix no. It isn't working. Should I call the 800 no. I just talked to landman who leased us. He no longer works for the co. Said the co. was responsible for recording the lease. There are about 50 ac. in PRIME area not recorded

I really don't know what is right or legal about this. I just know that we have landmen calling constantly and when I say we are leased, they laugh and say no you aren't. I have an apt. with an attorney

For Tiger Dog & Bill: I need advice. We signed a lease mid May 2008 along w/ our neighbors.Draft had a clerical error, so it took us 6 wks. to get our money. Got that. Now leasing companies started calling again this morn wanting to lease. I got online w/ Desoto Parish & lo & behold none of our group has a recorded lease. It has been 2.5 months. Is there a time frame gas co. has to record? Is there anyway out of this lease?

Dog, you always seem knowledgabe regarding this play. What @ smaller companies in the play like Cubic Energy, Gulf Coast Energy, Mainland Resources? Any others you can recommend? Don't you think they will eventually be absorbed by the big guys & at same time their numbers will go higher?

We got our check BUT for wrong amt. because of a clerical error in draft. Our leasing agent made clerical errors on several drafts same day ours was written (stored info in WORD & kept repeating it on draft). I wasn't getting anywhere with leasing co. who is no longer with PK, so called PK. They were great & got our ck to us within 5 days. There is a local PK ofc. in Shreveport that handles payments for this area.
We are buying other small companies in the shale i.e. cubic energy(qbik), Mainland (MNLU), Gulf Coast Energy (GCOG) too. Anyone out there buying small stocks tied to Haynesville?

A shale test well is being drilled about 5 mi. west and another 5 mi. north of this location, so time will tell

Tiger Dog, need your opinion.Close friends of ours have a 1/2 Million$ home/horse farm on 7.5 ac. with minerals in Desoto. They are thinking of putting it up for 1.5 mil$.. Do you think the minerals are worth $1 mil? They are leased at /4 royalty.Things are so crazy now. First I laughed at them, now I'm thinking maybe it is possible

Selling minerals. We are going to sell 6.38 ac. of minerals in Desoto Parish (in 2 difference townships and ranges). Anyone with an idea of the value and who might buy. Need cash NOW and we do have other acreage in the shale we would keep.
