:banghead:
this was posted on the go hayensville site concerning the messenger well
Am told that they will produce this one verticle, not horizontal as rumors have had it. They are supposed to frac this soon after logging the well. Told by someone supposedly close to EnCana that they will be permitting the other 7 units that are congruent to this well. Driller in Shreveport was willing to bet me that the next well drilled there will be horizontal. This well was never permitted for horizontal, but now they at least know what they have there. Will be interesting to see the production on this well! What a ride this has been! Was told this rig will be broken down and moved first of next week due to drilling needs at another location! Not sure and haven't heard when they will be back here, but the lease records indicate they have plenty of time in this area. Time is going to be a huge factor from here on out as there are not near enough rigs to handle the drilling being requested by the mineral owners!

I'm throwing this out for public consumption and hopefully someone with knowledge of the area will have an answer. It was asked on a Topix site whereas this post was deleted numerous times. The Commentor was "Rabbit" and claims this particular question is repeatedly deleted and certainly never answered...Just wanted to see if TD had any answers for this person....
Why aren't the wells drilled last year in operation? They were between Goldonna and the Natchitoches Highway near the old Placid Oil Field. Are there any pipelines in that area to carry the oil? What about the gas wells? Does anyone have information on this topic? :dude:

Thank you for the information. I've read on the forum that my land located at 12 12 6 in Natchitoches Parish might be too deep to drill in. I know 40 years ago they did a 2D seismic of the property and found gas/oil however it was too expensive to go after and didn't have the technology they do know.

just some information for you. Seismic Exchange asked to contract with me on my property in Goldonna, LA back in Dec of 07. They paid us 25$ per acre to do the testing. As of today they have not done any testing on my property but just yesterday they told me they would be on the property any day to do it. This is 3D Seismic testing. Does anyone know anything about Seismic Exhange or have heard who they may work for?
Thanks so much

Do you know if any of the companies are looking at the 12 12 6 areas at all? How far deep are they willing to drill in order to get production.
thanks everyone
