He'll retire after next year.
Off the charts! Arguably one of the best catches ever!
My favorite:

Oh yeah, forgot to mention that some LSU fans gave us the directions to the opposite side of campus than where we asked. We were among the last remaining hog fans to leave the campus thanks to them. God I hate them.

Funny. LSU is at or near top of favorite road trips for UH fans. Playing 'Captain Obvious', don't talk shiite when you're outnumbered 90,000 to 1,000. Cheer for your team and STFU when it comes to LSU fans and all is good.

Coach Sumlin says 'Keep winning and you will not be ignored'. The team and fans are following his cue.

UH is a much better team than people think or want believe to though. Earlier in the season, I would have not made that assessment. Yes, they played weaker a schedule but someone is in for a surprise in January if they take care of business next week.

Baloo is right, this is more about the attempt to elevate UH to the academic status as UT and TAMU. The TX legislature has just approved for UH to become a tier 1 university. UH has had a reputation as "Houston High", but they have actually become very competitive academically and are looking to add increase endowment funds for research and new programs. The new president of UH seems to recognize that most tier 1 schools have big time athletic programs and that the attention that comes from that helps tremendously with fund raising. She is sincere in raising the standards of UH athletics as evidenced by the new stadium and arena plans. The politicians in favor of UH gaining tier 1 status also realize this. It's not all about TV revenue. There is at least a logical argument that UH could benefit the Big 12(10+2) since their new investments in athletics along with the prestige of the Big 12 "could" wake the sleeping giant which is the huge UH alumni base. UH is the 3rd biggest university in Texas but does not currently motivate its fans.

Hogeb,

Thanks for the props! Evidently the UH president is meeting with the UT president today.
Don't misunderstand me, I'd rather play LSU every year. My GF is an LSU grad.

Please inform me what Cougar High Adds to the Big XII?

First, UH isn't going to the Big2 plus 8. As for your answer, one word 'grief'. That's because we can win in that league and Aggy, Tech, and Baylor know it. It happened before it would happen again.

Aggy hasn't played us in 15+ years. To Tech's credit, they played us and lost (We'll see what happens this year). OSU lost 2 of 3. Baylor wouldn't have any part in a game with us.

Aggy says they own the Houston market. Prove it on the field. As for TV, check the ratings for UT/Tech on ABC and compare to UH/TECH on ESPN2. You might be surprised.

Their high school program has no business in the Big XII. They add nothing.

Are you some kind of parrot that says what Aggy tells you?

Oriented well by Aggy. You have their talking points down very well. Did they mention why they refused to play UH for 15 years?
Houston. The largest SEC alumni base outside of Atlanta.;)
Maybe one day we'll get the opportunity to see but that will require LSU giving up one of their epic battles with La-Monroe or McNeese State. It would would also require LSU venturing out of Louisiana for a non-conference/non-bowl game for about the 5th time in 30+ years.

Take a look at UH's current conference schedule. It's like watching paint dry.

UH will never avg 70K at home but their current woes relate more to the appeal of the opponents than anything else at this point in time.
A bit a of a stretch on the Houston market as UH has over 250K alumns in the area. We would love for you to come over to Houston and play us in Reliant and see how the attendance shakes out.

That 'garbage' kicked your a$$es all over the field with one of our worse teams ever.
Although not the best, these guys panned out pretty well:

It all goes back to this message:

Having followed Ciron since I first saw him in high school, I always thought he would go high in the draft. The Steelers got a steal.
Calipari has left a trail of carnage every place he's been. He's beyond sleazy and sooner or later it will catch up to him.
You're only way out is to play Houston a 1-2 (1 home and 2 away). Check out the infractions committee:
