Are the Vols

In a way, yes, due to the pitching being used. But they weren’t expect to win their regional like the 4 hosts who lost are, 2 in historic fashion.

UCLA is the 1st #1 seed to lose their first game in NCAA Regional history.

AU got destroyed and were down 10-0 to a team with a losing record in one of the worst performances in NCAA postseason history season history. Just embarrassing

Ags win 7-5! How’d Auburn do?

UCLA losing their first game as the #1 seed, for the first time in NCAA Regional history, as a -850 favorite in the last inning is absolutely embarrassing.

Auburn getting totally destroyed falling behind 10-0 to a team with a losing record as a -2100 favorite is one of the worst ever performances in college baseball history. Unbelievable incompetence

The largest losers…

Team: Odds at start of game

Wake: -175
Tenn: -210
OkSt: -280
OrSt: -298
FSU: -500
USM: -540
UCLA: -850
Auburn: -2100

“One of these is not like the others” :dunno:

ETA: FSU
It’s early, but sure seems this is a 3 team race between GT, UGA, and Tx. I don’t trust UNC, but I guess they could be a 4th contender.
ESPN has Missouri St at 68 wins and 38 losses…those seem like Mickey Mouse type stats.

That's a pretty desperate challenge by Oregon State. Wasn't even close.

Can’t take them with you…hope it disrupts pitcher’s momentum. Worth a shot

Wake eating Kentucky's lunch. No surprise there. Mercer should've gotten that spot.

Update?

The only SEC team I'm cheering for is Auburn.

Checking in to see how this is going for you. AU was one of the largest favorites today at -2100, so I assume you’re enjoying your afternoon, right?

I think the obvious question is, what strategic reason would Russia have for attacking Romania?

A lot, actually. Just have to open your eyes.

I can't imagine being a 60 year old loser adult man that needs to make a secondary fake name as to not post on his primary fake name, on a message board, with people he doesn't know - the fagg0try level is off the charts

 You are a true winner.

-A Russian missile hit in Poland in 2022 (Przewodów) killing two people. -Pieces of missile debris and at least one unexploded missile landed in either Briceni or Larga, Moldova. -Along with these there have been numerous Russian jet and drone incursions through the airspace of both countries, plus Romania, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Finland, Norway and France. Without evidence proving a false flag, it's far more likely this was a Russian frickup than anything else. While they have definitely been testing airspace resolve with drones and planes, Vlad knows that if he can't take out Ukraine then taking on NATO (or even just the EU) would be a monumentally bad idea.

Careful, people on this board will say you are a Ukrainian bot. They can’t possibly understand why Russia has stepped up their attacks on Ukraine and are looking for a way out of this war.

It’s almost as if causing “a mistake” that hits on non-Ukrainian soul could cause additional pressure to end the war all together, with much of that pressure potentially aimed at Kiev. Imagine seeing the Russian death toll hit 500k, US intelligence saying Ukraine took back territory after shutting down the Russians black market Starlinks, and thinking Ukraine needed to do this more than Russia. That takes some serious intellectual abandonment. Cause Russia always steps up their killing of innocent Ukrainian citizens when the war is going well, right? RIGHT???
Yeah, because Russia always treats their neighbors with respect and sovereignty.

If you're counting the buyout as part of his salary.

His buyout had mitigation in it, which his DC salary offset. They’re literally paying him more than DC money over multiple years to do DC work. The struggle is very, very real.

they paid a buyout. He was later rehired as their defensive coordinator.

In other words, they are paying a HC salary for DC work as was stated before. The struggle is real

No. He was fired and then rehired.

For cause? Then, yes, he is.

Virginia Tech fired their head coach and then he became their defensive coordinator.

So the team is paying a HC salary for DC work and you thought it was a good example to make LSU look better?

Not sure lumping your favorite school in a category with Virginia Tech is ever a good thing. It’s Virginia Tech

Including the schools that rehired their fired coaches.

Schools as in plural? Coaches as in plural?

Surely there isn’t more than one school that is dumb enough to hire a single coach they fired, let alone 2 in a matter of weeks.

Bama a lot closer to UGA than Mizzou right now despite just missing a 2 handle on theirs, but if UGA resets theirs to 2026 and Bama doesn’t…Bama will be even more in “no man’s land” with over a decade gap on either side.

Feels like Bama overachieved this year and are vulnerable in the postseason, but their draw was as good as they could have asked for to have a shot to break the drought.

He’s not wrong tho, dropping to 12 is kind of wild. But it is what it is, just go play good baseball and you’ll make it through. Happy to be back in the postseason!

You had a 212 NC SOS. The only other hosts in the 200s were UGA and WV. UGA was a double champion of the best baseball conference in America. WV was the last host. What’s the problem here?

You sure? I’m showing GT has 4 more than Arkansas but could be misreading the website.
