Leavitt said he was willing to remove Border Patrol (not ICE) from Minnesota.
Bovino and Noem were clear: Pretti crossed the line from exercising his First Amendment rights
to illegally interfer with Border Patrol Agents. From what we can see in the videos, Pretti doesn't do anything more than the two women who were shoved. Were those women arrested for interference? There are reports that "witnesses were in custody. Maybe it's those two.

I know it's not the best source but here are the details from Wikipedia.

Wiki: Killing of Alex Pretti

"According to Border Patrol commander Gregory Bovino, the federal agents involved in the shooting were conducting an operation to detain an undocumented immigrant with a "significant criminal history".[23] Minnesota court and the Minnesota Department of Corrections records contradicted Bovino's claim: no person of the name given by Bovino had any criminal history in Minnesota, only misdemeanor-level traffic offenses from more than a decade ago.[24]

A witness in a doughnut shop near the location of the incident told news outlets that a man entered the shop and the door was locked, denying federal agents entry.[needs update?] This reportedly caused federal agents to call for backup and become aggressive toward observers, including Pretti.[25]"

"Still has confidence in Noem."

Trump offering to remove Border Patrol if Minnesota cooperates. ICE would remain.
Good move. She isn’t doubling down on "Pretti wanted to inflict maximum damage."

She only speaks for the President, who wants the investigation to play out.
President Trump demands that Minnesota turnover all illegal aliens in Minnesota custody.

Would Minnesota have to release from its jails illegal aliens who are incarcerated according to Minnesota law?
