Waco involved federal force used against civilians in the name of law and order.
If that comparison offends you, say which part you disagree with.
I’m pointing out a pattern of values, not accusing every poster individually.
If you disagree, feel free to explain why state violence is wrong in principle but justified in Waco.
Intellectually dishonest people respond with:
• dogpiling
• vibes-based outrage
• “you’re crazy, seek help”

The moment the mask slips, the whole thing stops being about ideas and starts being about protecting Trumps identity.
I would have to say most of the posters on here are intellectually dishonest.

State violence is bad unless it’s used against people I dislike.

If someone claims to:
• distrust federal power
• fear militarized law enforcement
• oppose the state using force against civilians

…but then defends Waco, where the federal government laid siege to civilians (including kids) in the name of “law and order,” that’s a contradiction. Full stop.
And dear leader is unwilling to learn from the mistakes of Four dead in Ohio and also Vietnam.

History repeating itself.

The people I see defending this on this forum are:

*right wing anarchistic
*Law and Order fetishists
*Conservatives who hate communism

But yeah these same people would defend Waco.
