Last year. That team had a complete offense. They had guys who could change the game on one swing but would also bunt, steal, etc. Dickinson had 12? HRs but was also our best bunt-er. They also had significantly more steals than Jay's previous 3 teams.

The main difference for 2026 from 2025 is this team hasn't shown an elite part of their game. This time last year we knew at a minimum the defense was elite.

1. Mik'd Up (at least for CJJ and player interviews)
2. CHunt Palmer show - bsb radio segments
3. Musso at the Box - he's getting better and I like the postgame
4. Locked on LSU
I think some of it is coaching them up and some is Jay recognizing that ability/skill when recruiting hitters.

Doing the Lord's work! I don't know how he does it, especially all the post season games. Always has lsu highlights for baseball/football.

Go back and watch highlights from frisco last year. It didn't look great for Kade Anderson when he got pulled against K-State. It didn't look great for Eyanson early against Nebraska. It didn't look great for Shores many times last year...it's the first game.

Give it a few outings. He's adjusting to being a starter. He'll be fine. If not, next man up, and he'll go back to being a dominant bullpen arm that now has 4 pitches (he added the 81mph curve against UCLA, what a time to add it lol).

NOT saying he’s Greg Maddux, but...he was so great at was locating pitches

He's said in interviews he wasn't trying to hit spots, he was trying to miss bat's. Which is an approach I'm surprised more pitchers don't try to take...probably bc it takes elite control
It'd be a lovely day if not for the haze from burning sugar cane.

I'm loving the variation in each w/o and finishing in under 50min!

I'd rather a 72° day game than a 58° night game in February, the same I'd rather a 86° night game than a 96° day game in June. I've left the box frozen plenty of times, even in March

Box

Jobert, we hated him, then loved him, then hated him some more, then loved him some more, hated him for a solid two weeks, then loved him after he pimped that moonshot against Florida in the title game blowout.

He was definitely streaky. I'd have to go back and watch, but During one of the cws broadcast they posted a stat that said lsu was undefeated when Jobert had multiple hits in a game (cant remember exactly but basically when hes en fuego). When he hit that late HR in g2, I thought "oh sh**, he's found it. We're gonna win g3"...then g3 he tore it up

Once I found out Aaron was programming it, I was on board. His programming is why squatober is so fun, and knew that he couldn't exclude his favorite lift from Benchuary, like Bill Gillespie did last year. It's not to late to hop in!

Day 1 down in 47min!

What happen to his other one?

He left his old show after he got a job doing medical sales, which requires extensive travel. Unable to do both, he handed off his show to Noah Tingle and Lloyd who then rebranded it to Tingle & Co.
I'm beginning to wonder if the NCAA planted him here as the real sanction...
