I always thought myself well-read and moderately intelligent, but with Cormac, I always read his books with a dictionary nearby.

With that said, Blood Meridian to me isn't his best work. I preferred No Country and the Border Trilogy.
Those books are just a lazy river of McCarthy compared to the rough rapids of Blood Meridian. It was a challenge for me to read that book. From "ignis fatuus" to Google translating the Spanish, Blood Meridian was an education in three languages.

I really think Sark is using Deboer and others as a guide for what players he should offer.

It's actually pretty genius. Wait to see who Deboer wants and then offer that guy. No matter who he is and drop a fat bag on him.

Thanks for having me. I've been reading the megathread wanting to comment for days and days. Lot of good info here. I like to get my Alabama news consolidated even if it is through a "the sky is falling" prism.

There are some gloomy people in these threads and for sure some of them can't be Alabama fans. Which I hadn't figured out just yet. But, troll on I guess.

Before long there will be an agency that rates portal grades of players much like the draft grade agencies do.

You have a B- grade. B- grade DEs avg $800k in the portal. If you are making more than that at your current school, stay home.
