I've been reading James Crumley too. He is hilarious. I read The Last Good Kiss and laughed my arse off.

I was just looking for a little networking opportunity. I have a friend who published a book for whom I edited and formatted. Was just curious about finding an influencer to advertise for a fee.

An Indie author from my home town self-published. I'm surprised at how good his book is.

It's available on Amazon.

The Men in the Median

Any Dennis Lehane fans here?

I am plowing through the Kenzie/Gennaro series- great read. Every one is them has been awesome so far. He's funny and captures the essence of Boston from the crackhouses to the Common.
I read Mystic River. Book is better than the movie which is saying a lot. Same for Shutter Island.

Let me know if you need help editing/formatting. I freelance. I've worked on several self-published works.

I also self-published my 1st novel this year.

They're still be MAJOR pushback from traditionalists if AI is used at all. The use of AI to even translate foreign dialog is frowned upon. Make sure you're using it only to find spelling errors or as a thesaurus. I have edited multiple books and I would guess 20-40% of these excerpts are heavy AI-assisted. If I had to guess, I'd say Claude AI.

Not knocking it at all. I actually want to read more.

What's your channel?

we either play KR this year or play against him next year.

If he's Tom Brady meets Randall Cunningham like everybody here seems to think, BAMA might have to play against him next year anyway. You think teams won't come poaching if he's all-world like people on here think? And he has a great season. Can't worry about that. You play the player who gives you the best chance to win.
I can't help but think of the early 2000s. 1999 was such a great year (except for a PAT missed in the Orange Bowl). I had so much fun watching BAMA that year. Then 2000 came. Ouch.

I had no idea what kind of team that 1999 SECC team would be preseason. I knew #37 was special, but if you'd bet me they'd beat Spurrier twice I would have laughed my arse off before agreeing to just about any of your terms.

The seasons after Saban have been some of the most anticipated seasons for me. Just the not knowing and the absolute parity. I hate the transfer portal and think fixing that would get the course adjusted for college football. IDGAF that the players are being paid. The portal is the main problem.

Deboer is going to win a national title at BAMA if the fans don't brick his windows. I wouldn't trade him for anyone at the moment. I think the offense is going to set school records under Deboer. Passing yards in a season, TDs, receiving yards. They'll all be Deboer guys. The rings are going to come too.

But I digress. I am looking forward to not just BAMA but all the fervor caused by college football. It's still the best thing on TV. I just hope we get a 1999 and not a 2000.

That whole saga has to be one of the dumbest things I've seen in a while.

Almost as dumb as the melt over the team photo.

Almost.

I wouldn’t want to live in Alabama for four years.

Who would want to live in Alabama when you could live in wonderful places like Valdosta, Macon, Macon County, any of the many shitstacks on the I-16 corridor. Or ooh, Atlanta!! Get fukt.
I got Mack. I think experience and time in the system gives him an edge and dude throws for 4800 yards. This season; not week 1.

Both QBs play vs ECU.

The absolute dragging of Jayden Daniels over his number 5 as much as I am?

Even StubHub said they no longer would be offering tickets in groups of 5! Haha.
They'd never have gotten there without him either. He didn't leave the cupboard empty as Saban did.

Smart.........I've seen enough to believe we could do just as well with someone else

Who? It's one thing to say someone else could have the success Deboer has had at BAMA and another yo name some names.

Who do you think would go 20-8 in his 1st two seasons?
