Its almost comical how much better Hunter got after making it to the NFL, He WAS, raw edge talent in a bottle coming out of LSU. A lot of fans claimed he was a bust, but he wasn't developed here.
That's wild, that's a big boy playing high school basketball. Like freaking Charles Barkley.

Personally, I find it dumb that OT- (OL in general) are not as heralded in this day and age. I understand they don't make the highlight reels, but good ones command big contracts in the NFL. A good offensive line is like having a solid drivetrain in your muscle car. You need it to be elite.
I know, was just saying brown seems to fit the mold of a 3-4 5 tech more than anything.

Coach was definitely using their agent as a proxy, I'm sure people on the other end of the stick told Desmond something was wrong with this setup.

Coming out of the woodwork with a thread revival.
He is making the circuit, will make his decision based off his level of indigestion he had from teh groceries.
Spears and Brown are similar body types, although i imagine spears was probably lighter at this point of his high school career.
Just imagine if they could of bagged Dylan Stewart.

This pass rush is gonna be bloody.
I believe regardless of players, based off who we have right now and even the freshman, Lane and Co will scheme around deficiencies making them appear better than this year.

Tempo and play calling can play to your strengths, and shield some weak links.

Imperfections will always be there, LSU had a very good OL in 2019 but certain players on that line were branded as terrible on this forum 2 years prior.
Definitely! He has that body type. Will play a great 5 tech but he is big enough to bang inside on certain alignments.

Im not worried in the slightest, he could provide depth but God help us if he has to ever start for LSU.
I guess seeing Lamar listed as an athlete made me wonder, but I figured he would play the 5 tech. I just wanted to see why they had him listed as such. His tape playing OT is incredible.

That needs a culture shift, elite NFL tackles have long careers and get PAID. Protecting the blind side of the most important position is extremely important with the type of athletes that are rushing the QB in todays game.
Well it is a sports forum, it is highly likely some are on multiple psychotropic medications at any given moment.
No i was thinking about terron Armstead before i even made the post because he was very athletic for being an OT, so my mind didn't even see Arik for some reason. Sorry the confusion.

Saints fan here, so that's why he came to mind when seeing his recruiting profile.
Im sorry i thought the first poster said Terron not Arik, my bad.
Yea i understand that; but a dominant LT is such a high commodity and they make big money in the league. Its stupid that people laugh because its not glamorized.
I promise you Brown cant run a 4.6-4.7, Armstead was a freakshow....no offense to Brown. He looks and plays like a horse but Armstead was other worldly. Sadly injuries started to take there toll on him but talent wise he was one of the best LT i have ever seen.
