Geez, can we make this a little less toxic, please?

If there wasn't this gross overreaction to Landry rightfully wanting the state cut out of the contract, the entire situation would be a nothingberger.

What's going on is LSU fans are realizing how toxic they have made the hire, and now they are trying to blame Landry in advance.

It's like that meme where you stick the pipe in your own bike tire then blame Landry.
