Brad Stevens in Baton Rouge.

Posted by AngelReeseluvr4 on 9/3/25 at 7:41 pm
Y’all can laugh now, but just remember this post when it happens. Word around some circles (can’t say too much ??) is that Brad Stevens is getting that itch to coach again, and LSU’s about to have an opening once Woodward pulls the plug on the McMahon experiment — which is coming sooner than later.

Stevens is tired of the NBA front office life. Dude wants to get back in the game, and he’s always had an eye on coaching in the SEC where hoops is heating up but still wide open. NIL money’s flowing, talent’s in the region, and let’s be honest — he’d OWN the portal here.

LSU’s a sleeping giant in basketball. Just needs the right guy to wake it up.

Bookmark it. Screenshot it. Tattoo it on your forehead. Brad Stevens to Baton Rouge is more real than y’all think.

Geaux Tigers.
not troll, really happened.... Tomlin post purely hypothetical.
Was up in Pittsburgh for work this week. Last night I sat at the bar and talked to a local. He was telling me the Rooney family arranged Bens marriage to save face of their franchise QB.

I was laughing listening to this; but he was telling me this is no laughing matter.

Tomlin isn’t leaving the most consistent organization in the entire NFL for Alabama.[/quote]

Could you imagine Tomlin flashing that ring in Black houses in New Orleans?
As I sit here and watch Bill Belicheck have a successful opening possession in Chapel Hill I cant help but think that the "Patriot Way" may have been brought to Chapel Hill.

I think its fair to say Deboer is in over his head. People thought it was crazy to think Billy would coach college just a year or two ago. What if Mike Tomlin were to coach in Tuscaloosa. I know he said there wasnt a booster with a big enough blank check, but I think if that A comes calling you need to think about it.

Like Bills' "Patriot Way", Tomlin famously says "The Standard is the Standard." If Tomlin walked into any minority household in the south and flashed that ring who says no?

So, Could we possibly see "the Standard" come to Tuscaloosa?
