As far as I can imagine, under the current EPA administration, one might reasonably, and thus rationally, conclude that the pathway for Hydrograph to receive EPA approval is now probably much less burdensome than it would have been under any previous administration, based on the current administration's deregulatory actions thus far.

Any of the EPA policies are subject to these deregulation, however anything guided by Congressional legislation (for instance TSCA in this case) stand. The changes being implemented currently ("Fork in the Road" headcount reductions, budget cuts, government shutdown, etc.) will grind these approvals to a halt. I am dealing with some of this currently myself. Reviews that should have been completed two months ago and currently going nowhere due to these same issues.

I imagine it will, they have their hands in every government system now. Their Gotham product is how Ukraine has been able to stay in the war with Russia. It is a force multiplier allowing them to track and identify targets automatically. It is also how they were able to intercept the Zircon, Kinzhal and Iskander missiles.

They are tied in with several in the private sector as well.

I am not judging anyone but I do question the strategy of day trading on a pre revenue OTC stock.

What’s the logic I am missing here. Maybe make a few grand , $10k ? Then what? … try and buy more share hoping the stock goes down in value?

Just doesn’t seem like a solid strategy but to each is own I guess.

I swing trade OTC penny stocks like crazy while maintaining a minimum number of shares until I cover my position and then just sit on it like hen does a clutch of eggs. I try to take advantage of the extreme volatility and I sometime get caught and the price never comes back down (like I did with UAMY) but I have not done this with HydroGraph. I have only added to my HydroGraph position since it started it's climb.

I see all the use scenarios for graphene, but how many of those require the purest graphite? Other companies may be selling a less pure product that is cheaper AND works just fine in commercial applications.

HGRAF may have the best product, but may not make the most profit. I don't know...

Pure guess on my part, however I foresee concert and rubber being any true graphene but coatings, food packaging/plastics and batteries requiring a more pure graphene like HGRAF.

Research Paper - Graphene Enhanced Rubber

That Article is from February 2024 but shows some additional applications for graphene. Can you imagine graphene replacing the steel bands in a radial tire and increasing the pliability and decreasing the rate of dry rot? Or o-rings and vibration dampeners that last longer?

Abstract from the above linked article:

"Graphene and its derivatives have been confirmed to be among the best fillers for rubber due to their excellent properties, such as high mechanical strength, improved interface interaction, and strain-induced crystallization capabilities. Graphene rubber materials can be widely used in tires, shoes, high-barrier conductive seals, electromagnetic shielding seals, shock absorbers, etc. In order to reduce the graphene loading and endow more desirable functions to rubber materials, graphene-based hybrid fillers are extensively employed, which can effectively enhance the performance of rubber composites. This review briefly summarizes the recent research on rubber composites with graphene-based hybrid fillers consisting of carbon black, silica, carbon nanotubes, metal oxide, and one-dimensional nanowires. The preparation methods, performance improvements, and applications of different graphene-based hybrid fillers/rubber composites have been investigated. This study also focuses on methods that can ensure the effectiveness of graphene hybrid fillers in reinforcing rubber composites. Furthermore, the enhanced mechanism of graphene- and graphene derivative-based hybrid fillers in rubber composites is investigated to provide a foundation for future studies."

I have been in First Graphene since 2023 and that thing is so volatile. I got to where I started swing trading it, just set my buy and sell orders about $0.01 USD apart and let them roll. This strategy allowed me to accumulate a significant amount of shares, make some decent profit and pulled my average share price from $0.08 USD to around $0.0185 USD
If anyone has a position in Nova Minerals (NVA) from the offers I am getting to loan-out my shares (currently +30%), it is about to get hammered by the shorts.

Purely ignorant question on my part, if it was the next phase of Pele would they not be continuing with BWX Tech? Don't get me wrong, I would love to see SMR, OKLO, etc. win some contracts under Janus because I own stock in each of them, however my concern is the 2028 deployment schedule.

Hey DStone! Continuing your thoughts on BlueSky:

I bought 10,000 shares this morning at the open and we will see where it goes. Argentina is hungry for investment, they just have a long way to go. I am interested to see if their president Javier Milei gets reelected. The area in which Blue Sky is exploring is VERY remote with very little infrastructure and a very sparse population. Not saying a mining operation can not be successful because Pan American Silver operates a mine in the same province. I just want to point-out that any investment in Argentina has significant hurdles and one in this province has even more hurdles.

The pros are that the country is seeing some growth and they have the desire to expand on other industries outside of agriculture. This is encouraging and I am hopeful this company is successful. I put a second order in to buy another 20,000 shares at $0.04.
Hey DStone, I am going to move this discuss to your mining and minerals thread... see you over there!

Have not seen this one, but I do have a lot of interest.

How much do you know about that area of South America, specifically Argentina?

Get those uranium stocks up.

I am all about this! About 65% of my retirement portfolio is tied to the nuclear energy industry.

The reason I point-out the differences between SMRs and micro reactor designs is the risk hedging on NuScale to win any micro design contracts over someone already focused in that design space (Nano, BWXT, Westinghouse, etc) is pretty low. The design requirement is so drastically different than their existing designs and the deployment date is so close it would be a long shot for them.
I am not trying to split hairs or start an arguement at all, just explain that a Small Modular Reactor (SMR) and a Micro Reactor are two different designs for different purposes.

A SMR is a reactor with an output between 5 MWe and 300 MWe and is intended to be stationary. While a Micro Reactor has an output range of 1 MWe to 20 MWe and is intended to be a mobile power station (like a diesel generator). They are designed to power mobile bases or naval ships (aircraft carriers or submarines), to run at relatively low temperatures/pressures and have the capacity to be turned on and off routinely. They also in most cases use graphite as containment shielding due to the lower weight (compared to water).

If our intention is to develop and deploy a micro reactor by 2028 then we should be focusing on using an established contractor with approved designs (Westinghouse or BWX Technologies). NuScale while they do have approved designs, their smallest design is still 50 MWe and is not a mobile design. It is a Boiling Water Reactor (BWR) design which must be installed in a basin for cooling and containment.

How is this different than Project Pele? Why do we have redundant programs pulling resources? Sounds like companies that did not make Pele's short list leveraged the DIU to create a second program.

SMR is not a micro reactor company.

What’s your plan of these spike? Pull some profit?

I have already pulled enough profit back in December to cover my entire current position so I am planning to sit on these to see where it goes. I saw a rumor that they are in discussions with the administration to invest in them similar to what the did with MP and now what they are discussing with Nova (NVA).

Speaking of...I bought Nova this past Friday during the initial run-up (which was a total violation of my investment rules). I guess the gamble paid-off this time!

I found this substack about WWR if you want to give it a read.

Hey! Perpetua Resources is probably my most bullish position. It does have some risks that could slow the development down, however I believe they will push through them. The most significant liability is the lawsuit filed by the Nez Perce Tribe. Perpetua will navigate this lawsuit but it will slow the development down because they will either disprove the Tribe's claims or issue additional accommodations. This project is just too important to national security.

I believe Perpetua is still awaiting approval of their wastewater discharge permit from the state as well as the EXIM Bank financing . I was expecting EXIM financing to go through late 2025 or early 2026, however that article states Spring 2026.
