With your knowledge of today's job environment, what would you recommend to an 18 year old? What would you personally do?

Let's go with 2 categories:

One for Louisiana.

The other anywhere else.

Was reading an article about the economic impact of the LNG plants in Louisiana and they mentioned how they were plucking all the operators from the surrounding plants and how their pay was better than engineers at those plants (I'm guessing because OT)

Anyone on here got an idea or ballpark number?

CFB bets for this weekend?

Here are the odds for tomorrow.

Indiana -14.5 vs. Penn State

Georgia -9.5 vs. Mississippi State

Texas Tech -11.5 vs. BYU

Texas A&M -6.5 vs. Missouri

Oregon -6.5 vs. Iowa

Alabama -10.5 vs. LSU

Any bets you like?

Look at that face. Answer is there.
Example: Raising Canes was founded in Baton Rouge and moved it's headquarters to Dallas.

Would love to know the backstories of why they moved.

Being bought out by another company and moving doesn't count.

Little better definition of "harder/more competitive".

Say If I put my resume in to every plant in the area. And my resume is white guy with 5 years experience of being a pipefitter and a Process Tech degree from Sowela.

What plants would most likely turn me down?
Arguing with a friend about if it's harder/more competitive to be an operator at a refinery or LNG plant.

Wondering what you guys would say.

Oh, Geaux Tigers.
