re: Need Info on TRT

Been on 100mg a week (broken down to 50mg twice a week) for about 6 weeks now. Just got some blood work done..
Total Test is up to 582 from mid 200s, free test is 20. HTC has creeped up over 51 but I will say I was pretty dehydrated going into getting my labs done which I believe can affect that some. I feel a but better from when I started however but am wondering what would happen if I upped it to perhaps 120mg a week.

Finally got started on injections. Endo prescribed 100 mg a week, which I am breaking that down into 2 injections a week. Did first one last night. CVS gives me these single use 200mg vials, and it says to throw away after one use. HA, I'm not gonna throw away a half empty vial. Guess I will just stock up

After 2 months, multiple labs, and a MRI on my brain, the endo is finally approving me for injections! I was starting to think she never would. She still definitely kept pushing Clomid but I said "thanks but no thanks" to that. I'm willing to bet she will tell me to do it once every 2 weeks but I know better than that

Update: Endo got back to me about 2nd round of labs. Wants to do an MRI on my pituitary and ANOTHER round of labs 6 weeks from now. Thorough but sheesh, just gotta sit here for 6 weeks?

Oh 100%. I lift 5 days a week, cardio 4 days a week. Diet has been in check now for over a month. 180g of protein a day. I think I've lost about 15 pounds in that time. Sleep around 7-8 hours a night. This is just the beginning though.

Second round of blood work came back.
Total Testosterone 280 ng/dL
Free Testosterone 8.8 pg/mL
FSH 1.3 mIU/mL
LH 2.9 mIU/mL
To me, these numbers sound a lot like secondary hypogonadism. But again, I am just worried that since the total testosterone fell within the "normal range" (264-916) this time around that the endo will just tell me to lose weight and sleep better.
I already have a follow-up with the endo but that is not until mid-June. Am hoping to hear something from them sooner than that though

Had endo appointment yesterday. Went a lot better than I thought it would. She wants to do a more in depth look at other various hormone levels and stuff before just giving me test. But she isn't against TRT in any way from what I could tell.
She did seem to push Clomid more than injections, but the more I read about Clomid I don't think I want to go down that path. Got those labs done this morning so we will see what those look like. Hopefully my Test levels don't come back right above the low end of "normal" (which is like 270 on the range and is totally not normal for someone at my age).

Yes 29 is quite young, I agree. But i was having the symptoms even when I was in a good weight range was really focused on healthy habits.
As far as kids go, don't have any and don't really want any (no offense to kids or those who want kids. Just not something me and my fiancée really want)

I am 29. A little bit overweight (which I am actively working on), in the gym 5-6 days a week. Told PCP the other day I am experiencing a lot of the usual low T symptoms (and quite frankly I was having them when my weight was in a healthier range too). She tested my total and free test.
TOTAL: 244 ng/dL
FREE: 7.9 pg/mL
Obviously that is low, especially for my age. PCP is referring me to an endo (which I have read mixed things about endos and TRT). But it is a start. Hopefully that appointment goes well, as with insurance it would be a lot cheaper than a clinic. I know I can go the ugl route but would rather not unless I have to
