It's about 18,000 square feet total between back and front. When previous owner put pool in, they spread the dirt and it is 90% clay and we have sodded twice now and has never been successful.

Sod Question

I just received a quote for our front and back yard. I am being told that St. Augustine and Zoysia is the same price, is that correct?
Also, we have a pretty big back yard and the project includes: removing all old grass and soil in backyard (4-6 inches deep), install river silt dirt to entire area with proper grading, includes leveling and grading correctly for front yard. Quoted 30,000 for all. Not sure if that's a good price or not.
