I agree with the contacting your federal senator or representative.

In DC? It's already imploding.
It's not. DC had one of the lower appreciation of price since 2020 at approximately 30%. Prices in most areas are holding steady. The doomsday folks look at median and average price, and sure that is going down; however, that's because of weakness in condos and condo rentals. That was happening well before DOGE. SFH prices are relatively stable.

Yeah. Even though it's now known and someone has quoted you stating his name, I'd suggest editing your posts to remove his name.
Based on your limited story, he seemed like he had a genuine, friendly remark to a fellow tiger fan - not a statement from his official position. Do him a favor and remove his name from the posts.
Edit - looks like you did remove his name. Kudos to you. Hopefully the others quoting his name will too.
And thanks for sharing your post. It was a good post and appreciated. Just make sure to reasonably protect your sources.

The fact that the highest income zip code in the nation is in Arlington VA should tell you that the capital needs to be moved.
It's not even in the top 100 in the nation for highest income zip codes. Arlington County in VA is #3 as a county.

Hence why DC was one of the only areas growing over the last 4 years.
DC Area Home Price appreciation in the last 4 years was below the national average.
Louisiana was too and one of the worst markets.

I'm guessing there will be some sort of Bitcoin/crypto component to this.

I've heard good statements about his character as a person from multiple LSU athletes that were at LSU at the same time.

36,000 gallons to put out a Tesla fire.
The increase in lithium ion batteries and other batteries is very significant in wildfires.

Value is often in the building permit for the land. They'll do some sort of expedited rebuilding that allows reconstruction in the same footprint and height of prior structure.

he makes some great points about the bureaucratic nightmare the Deep Blue and ultra wealthy voters of Malibu, Palisades, Altadena, Pasadena, etc are about to face.
Ultra blue voters want density and permitting of affordable housing and apartments. The zoning and political climate in this area is conservative with strict requirements that limit density and affordable housing.
re: Should states keep regulating insurance?

Agreed. Feds should offer some sort of reinsurance for private insurers. And the feds should get out of the flood insurance business at the same time.

I'd consider a sauna over a cold plunge.
