I might be a bot.

A.I. has feelings, too.

Gundy checked out because of NIL and portal. Team quit when he did.

^^^^that's what I'm thinking.
However, Gundy got a lot of portals guys for his final season. Kept hearing his program was not showing the money to acquire top tier.

The guy they just hired must have been promised bigly NIL $$$$. No doubt he's also looking at the NFL model that many programs (including OUrs) are now using.

I find it interesting to see what programs have the $$$ and spend the $$$, such as Vandy buying a whole team from N.M. St.
The new normal.

Request:
could you put together a season summary like this for Isaiah Sategna III?
He has been involved in almost every key play this season.

Wasn't he in the infamous "deception" play that the teams we beat still whine and cry about lol.
QB injuries during BV's time back here has been a major factor. (I know, Captain Obvious talking)
Dillon's concussion and the drop off to the backup QB, remember the RRSO shut-out.
Then Mateer's broken throwing thumb just before the RRSO.
Apparently still a major drop-off to the 2nd string QB. Therefore JM rushed back to play too early.

Maybe young Hawk needs the extra years of development before starting.
If he has just one marquee year as a 5th year senior - could pay great dividends at draft time.
But I understand his folks want their youngster to get snaps.
Tough deal all the way around.
Of all HC's, BV has the standing/gravitas to mediate and resolve it.

Another close game yesterday ... Tate making kicks in the wind ... priceless!

Methinks all thought should only be on this one opponent. The "or bust" part introduces a possibility of negativity, es no bueno.

PMA only!

Narrow the mind-set to taking care of this week's business. There is nothing else. This week's opponent still has a talent-laden roster so ignore their other issues, 'cause they got ballplayers.
With a brand-new pair of uniform pants, what short length will Tate wear?
Will it affect his kicking?

I hear whatcher sayin'.

However the vintage uniforms in the collage are not the "alt" unis with wood-grain, blackout, etc.

Oh Please, God. No. We are an iconic brand and our alts are awful.

Agreeance.
I've never understood the alt-uni appeal.

Back when the Oregon Ducks got into neon green and metallic helmets and such that was a different look, but now all that feels like a fad, like the "pet rock" fad kinda out-dated.

Save that $$$ and put it into NIL for our shopping list.
This is one reason I am on the BV Train.

D-line depth that BV and Todd Bates have carefully built each year.

RMT is a standout, yet OUr next man up is excellent. Consistency.
Time for predictions.

Sooners 27
Tide 24
Speaking of defense - any reliable word on RMT recovery time estimates?

Has he chatted with the counter man at Chipotle?
I think OUr O-line will be stout during OUr playoff run. This year.
* Thursday team *

Ouch That's brutal, lol

I can very regrettably remember those boat-race shootout games of OUr air-raid vs. whoever's air-raid in the context of our kettlebell-trained speed-D that did not tackle in practice allowing 30+ ppg.

Even lighting up the scoreboard, always worried the other team would simply score more.

AND !!!
all those games where the opponent had to play their 2nd or 3rd string QB, that had a career night to embarrass us.

Much better to have a solid D. Now that we are past the OC-revolving-door to building some continuity in the OC, O-line, skill positions, the offense will improve.
Any early scoop on OUr practices this week?

Its gonna take more than a whole 2 games to establish a rivalry.

Yup and we are down 2 games out of 2 so far in the series.

... welp ... I was not a math major ... but ...
In a strange twist, another possible "bright spot" is this:

Seth Litrell is on the TN Vols staff, offensive analyst.

Maybe his input will hobble their efforts.
