Bob Scearce was my Daddy’s friend. Back in the 1960’s. My Dad was a huge bass fisherman and was invited on Mr. Scearce’s show sometimes as his guest. My Dad caught a huge bass (which I have of course) and somehow Mr. Scearce found out about it. Well, Daddy caught it in a “private pond” and swore never to tell anyone where. I remember Mr. Scearce pushing Daddy. But he never told. Dad died in 1966 (Jack Hastings), and for years Mr. Scearce would sign off saying......I still don’t know where Jack Hastings caught that huge bass! Great memories. Thank you Mr. Scearce for the memories.
