youre right! thats an interesting question. Weird that don't go into more detail on that. So the kids weren't working for LORA, they were like contractors through a different company. What were they even doing? How long did they work there? are they still even there?
Light on the details there as well. Lot of bread and sauce in this sandwich, but whereeees the meat

i'm saying the article insinuates alot more then it tells you what actually happened.
Weird how he gets this house for "free", but hes paying a mortgage on it 5 months later. Sure doesn't sound like it was free
Of course Lora doesn't have the hundreds of millions to match their liabilities. For Lora to become liable for that much money, a few hundred oil companies would have to go belly up in the middle of the night. And if a few hundred oil companies died overnight, I think the last thing Louisiana would be worried about is if LORA could pay to plug all those wells.
Its like an insurance company, They make money off you not getting into a wreck, but hey if it happens, they can cover the cost of fixing your car

Office attorney takes some paperwork home to finish. It has to be notarized and witnessed before it can be completed. He calls his wife over and has her witness the notary because what is he going to do, call his neighbor over? Does that mean she had a hand in anything? Nope, but it sounds damning. Contract itself couldn't have been approved by anyone but the Commissioner, so was he in on it? doesn't look like WBRZ even tried that thread

this wasn't meant to be a corruption witch hunt, this was just meant to be a hit piece on Laurie, thats why his name isn't even in the title of the report.

This one is some shoddy arse reporting. They aren't posting half the details, just what sounds the worst. And it has absolutely nothing to do with the fact Laurie ran against Dixon Mcmakin last election whose wife is COINCIDENTALLY an investigative reporter at WBRZ.
