I want to thank you for the time you spent posting the day by day experiences you've had with the phone system! I was considering ordering this for our new location, but was on the fence. We're an MSP and use Unifi switches/APs in most of our customers' locations, but given the occasional botched firmware updates, I was hesitant to trust them for phones. Based on everything you've written though, I went ahead and ordered them. If they work out, it would be great to bring to our customers instead of the ancient PBX systems in place currently.
