If you’re wanting an amazing beach I’d go Turks and Caicos. I can help you find a resort in your budget (they are expensive there). Bahamas or Frand Cayman would be cheaper options. Aruba would be somewhere in between. I never recommend Mexico or Dominican Republic unless people just really need a cheaper trip. Why go that far and not go to a better beach in my opinion.

Some islands are better than others but it just depends what you want to do. Sit on a beach? Hike a mountain? Sail around? Bathe in luxury at a resort with plenty of dining options?

Turks and Caicos is my favorite beach (several). Antigua is a close second probably. St Lucia is one of coolest islands though with so much scenery and beauty. St John has some great beaches too.

I’ve had a ton of clients look at Antigua and St Lucia lately. I feel like those are the trending islands for 2025.

The defense was awful last year and we barely got any new talent that can step in immediately to fix it. New coaches are great but this isn’t a year one turnaround.

Everyone should have a credit card that offers either hotel or airline rewards. I prefer one with both but you should be getting at least one free trip a year if you plan it right. There are cheaper times of the year, demand changes and sales but you can’t rely on that when you need a flight for a specific date. Being flexible isn’t realistic usually so the best price is usually certain days of the week, airlines that don’t get good reviews (spirit, frontier) , or flying at a time that isn’t ideal.

Having a hub nearby helps but even then prices fluctuate. I priced a trip for a client recently from Atlanta to London direct and then Huntsville to London which connected through Atlanta. The Huntsville trip was cheaper which makes no sense and the client lives closer to Huntsville so it worked out better. Sometimes airlines just don’t make sense.

Use google flights to track costs always though.

No human deserves a statue. It’s a weird way to honor people.

Haven’t been that good in years. Didn’t add anything special.

I hope we win but I wouldn’t bet on it. We just haven’t done anything to improve any areas of weakness in a major way.

Encore is definitely not lower end. The rest are.
