While they bring in over a mil just from one storm. But he wants you to donate GoPros and Tripods so he can pay to wrap his trucks and trailers and cook trailer he uses maybe once a year and give himself a $300k salary and write his house and vacations off as business expenses.

So you call misappropriation, not paying their vendors, not paying their employees, not paying their bills, lying, exaggerating, screaming at volunteers "pretty neat"? You're a Bama fan so figures.

No the Cajun Navy needs to be disbanded as it is today. Between the egos and misappropriation of the leaders, somebody needs to do something. If you want examples, just ask.

Funny you should mention the Cajun Navy. On the one hand, yes, it shows people are good. Citizens come out on their own to help those in need. But almost all of the owners of the Cajun Navy groups have been found to be selfish, greedy, and break the law over and over.
Perfect example: Rob Gaudet bought one generator after a disaster because he was pressured to but then posted all over his facebook page bragging how they buy generators (plural) for the elderly. He bought one fricking generator. And that was after turning down so many others who needed things because he didn't want to spend the money. But he makes a $300k salary from taking money from little old ladies and getting people to work for free and almost everything donated.
Is that evil? Define evil, I guess.

The Cajun Navy travels all over recruiting local people to work for free and they get truck loads of stuff donated that they hand out to victims and then they pocket the money donated to pay for both of those things. People dont' realize those things are provided for free. It takes money to run a business. I get that. But I saw Rob Gaudet's tax forms from a couple of years back and that jerkwad took a $300,000 salary plus paid for all kinds of shite as a "business expense". The Cajun Navy has become a scam when you pull back the curtain.
