The best scenario would be for Bama to lose to one of their remaining SEC games (LSU beat both teams) and for LSU to win out and beat FLorida (again) in the SECCG.
One Loss SEC champ (LSU) is in, 2 Loss Bama is out. The lamentations and gnashing of teeth on the part of the Gumps would be too delicious to endure!

re: .243 for deer?

Agree with the 100 gr Nosler partition. I broke the grandson in with a single shot 243. The first deer he shot was a small doe at 125 yds using a 100 gr sierra boat tail soft point. It had very little penetration, and I found the copper jacket under the skin down by the belly (initial impact was right behind the shouleder). I switched him to the nosler partitions, and the next three deer were all pass-throughs...but the range was between 90-100 yards. good luck with your decision.
so, Speedy, what's worse? A seven month bump or being germans?
