Here's the thing that gets me. The Soviet Union invaded Poland at the same time as Nazi Germany. But Britain and France only declared war on Germany. If the reason for WW2 was protecting countries from unprovoked invasion, why not declare war on the Soviet Union as well? ...

I did see a study recently that people who live downstream of chemical plants are more likely to be obese (along with being more likely to suffer from every other health problem one can think of) but most people just eat too damn much. ...
